Guess the Audi's Speed!!!

Woe. He was on one there buddy. I would guess around 130 ish.

Not massively fast maybe 120's. Certainly too much of a speed delta between them and the traffic in lane 2.

He is certainly moving along but what makes it more obvious is the car taking the video isn't going that fast, just been overtaken quite quickly by a Toyota then that Navara with a big trailer on. I would say the Audi is probably doing 120 ish. Doesn't even have any headlights on, not that's it's dark but cars are more likely to spot you. Won't last long before somebody pulls out if they regularly drive at that speed.
Quiet at work tonight so did some maths.
The footage was taken on the M3 southbound approaching junction 7. The sign is easy to find as the A30 and A303 are really close to each other at this point.

The vechicle the camera is in looks to be a truck or HGV as I calculated it's speed around 57 mph. There is a marker post just at the point the video starts and it goes past 2 posts in 7.8 seconds by my reckoning.
2 posts is 200m so 1km in 5 x 7.8 = 39s . 3600s in an hour / 39 = 92 kmh = 57 mph.
Could be in a rush to get to the airport or catch a ferry.
