A4 MODS VIA VCDS?

Tilt not working, but Audi Parking system graphic display is, even without module 76.

Perhaps the tilt will work later, as the graphic display didn't work and now it does.
 
Good to hear thr parking graphic is displayed, its cool! I just accessed it a different way!.. Just checking did it confirm the coding was accepted?.. If so make sure the mirror adjusting swtich is switched to the passenger side mirror and engage reverse to see! :)
 
Ahh. I wss going to try putting it on pass mirror position
 
Yea the graphi is great. Just need front sensors too!
 
Did that work ok for ya mate?.. Yea front sensor's would be good also, but i would want folding mirrors before!lol
 
Yup that works. Really useful as i was a bit dubious having it drop when ever going into reverse. Is there a way to adjust the drop amount? It could do with going a little lower i feel
 
Ok so I've just received my vag com cable and I've had a quick play I've done needle sweep, mirror tilt, seatbelt chime, but couldn't figure out how to get the parking graphic or remove handbrake without seatbelt as it asks me for a code??? Also don't know why but the low fuel warning has disappeared :/ anybody know why this would be???
 
Go to the complete list on the other forum and it gives you the code. The vcds software also gives it if you hover the mouse over the box.
As for fuel. Dunno. You been clicking where you shouldnt? Or had it gone before you started playing?
 
Ok my low fuel light has come back on lol, is it possible to have the lights turn as you turn? Also what do I do when it says enter code presented by program??? How do I do the parking graphic display? Sorry for all the questions :)
 
Do you have a module 76 to access? Theres two ways of doing it.
Just type the code in the box? Then continue.
 
To display the parking graphic (outline of car and sensors/distance to object):
[10] Park/Steer Assist
16 Security access -> 71679
Do It
07 - Coding
Byte 0
bit 4 0->1

Sorry I'm new to this vag com stuff it only came today, is that 71679 a code I type in the. Press do it? Then do I change bit 4 from 0 to 1? Cheers
 
Follow it. It will make sense. Theres for example 8bytes in a coding page and under each byte there are a number of bits. 0 is off and 1 is on.
 
What cable are you guys using for changing these codes? Is it only possible with Ross-Tech cables, or can the cheaper alternatives be used?

ive done it thanks for your help :) just struggling to get the hidden mmi menu up and was wanting to try out the flashing lights on heavy braking just to see what they were like but I'm happy with what I've done so far...

what car you got nealy all audis have alarm
 
Hi guys, I am new to this vag com stuff and I’m interested in a few mods:
- Enabling Needle Sweep
- Passenger Mirror Tilt When Engaging Reverse
- Emergency Brake Flashing via Indicators
- Display Graphic Interface When Engaging Reverse

Would like to get my hands dirty on this so any advice on a good cable/software required would be much appreciated. Many thanks :)

Hi , can you please tell me another way to access the parking graphic ?
 
You need to select left mirror when in reverse for it to work. You can also enable oil temp on DIS and also for alot of guys Video In Motion which allows passengers to watch DVD's on the screen. I have about 6 pages of B8 tweaks if anyone wants them

Guys any help here with the full beam don't work I installed everything coded it correctly full beams don't flash but I only can do it with fog lights lol

Depends on the car. You can unlock a lot of things but it all depends if the car supports it.
