Yeah same; suggestions seemed to be that one week before BW it would go into prep. Status probably HAS changed, but the tracker just doesn't reflect it as you say.

Who's told you it was at status 38?
My order has just moved in the last half hour from Q.C. to in Transit from the Factory status 30
However, on Friday, my sales rep informed me the car was at Emden docks I believe he is more up to date than the tracker

The tracker thing when you log in the go to the link and it shows all the codes. I hope it's wrong :)

I'll email them see what they say because also looking at these codes it looks like I'm missing the black pack (it says aluminium mirror caps) and I ordered black pack.

P.s it's a s4 not s3 just there seems more activity in this tracker section hope no one minds

Tracker is 48hrs behind the dealer I was told.

Mine is currently sitting in Emden waiting for a ship.

Trackers showing QC for me but just had an email saying left the factory... hopefully be on a ship soon.

mine went from status 10 to qc all in an hour this morning :|

As others have said tracker is wrong

Same, Audi online chat told me it was on its way to the port Thursday and my dealer phoned me today to say it's there waiting for a ship, tracker still says QC :tearsofjoy:

Exactly what happened to me last Friday, was looking forward to going through the stages and got them all in one go.

Build week 8 with a start date of the 20th - was getting worried as I was hearing rumors that BW8 was realistically the last week for a pre April 1st delivery and i wasn't seeing any movement. Whether this is the case i don't know but i was pleased to see it moving.

The tracker is a cruel mistress, gives hope and dashes it a quickly as it gave it.

Mine says it's at the port waiting too but I know it's at the dealers it's useless is the tracker

The tracker is full of errors regardless of car model or factory
Glad you have found some kindred spirits here.
I did notice the A4/S4 section seem to have given up with the tracker

Me too mines a sportback 1.4 BE, was hoping for some jump forward but if the apps not updating have you checked with Audi UK?
 
We have a A1 on order with a week 10 build commencing the 6th March. spoke to customer services and dealer and I am on code 20 at them moment.
 
Mine was build week 8 and has been at Grimsby for 3 days waiting for collection to dealers.

Do you just need order number to check with them using online chat? - my company placed my order so probably won't be able to answer questions like name on the order etc.

Although I am an A3 owner, we ordered an A1 sportback early January. For some time, the tracker was static and said it was due to begin construction 27.2.17 (today). Having checked the build had started today, I noticed the tracker had jumped straight to stage 7 quality control! Is the tracker really that accurate and assuming it is, any thoughts as to why it has progressed so quickly? I am posting on this forum as I normally use this forum for myself and it always seems to have far more posts and advice than any of the model sections/forums of audi-sport.net!

Same here, they won't confirm the car has gone into preparation either which is slightly frustrating! I suppose short of marching in to the factory and threatening the staff with a mighty rage it's all out of my control at this point!
How much are flights to Germany these days?

It will have started before today and the tracker just hasn't been updating as it progresses.
Have a feeling Audi aren't to fussed about fixing it quickly

Mines still on number 7 on the tracking thing,has been for over a week,had an email from Audi to say it was on the boat a few days back and today was told it's in the UK waiting on transport .The tracking thing definitely isn't working at the moment!!

Interested to follow your progress as we're both Saloon's with the same build date. Let me know if your tracker moves.
 
ARRRRGH!!!!! I've just checked tracker and mine has moved into prep. I had spoke on audi live chat to Gerald about 4pm who told me still at 10, with a start date of 6th March, no other info. Since then i've nearly fallen out with sales person as i wanted car in March cos of tax changes.....if i wake up tomorrow and its in QC it'll be me buying her a bunch of flowers .......nearly cancelled the order.
 
You'll be lucky mate, I was build week 8 and have been told to expect the car around 18th - 19th, it's in Emden at the mo waiting for a ship.

So it's seems my tracker is working and on schedule, moves to prep one week before build......

Yeh definitely, I'll let you know if anything changes. Neither of us getting pano roof so bodywork should be the same. With my general luck in life though, I think you're going to wish you ordered something different :sob:
 
The tracker is terrible; it is now over a week and I can't add my order. It doesn't recognise it. Online chat however has told me the build week has moved forward a week provisionally to 22 which is 29th May.

Do Audi do the same as VW and do a new year update where they may make some changes?
such as make something extra standard for example. (such as with the Golf R before build week 22 last year they didn't include sat nav and after they did.) And if they do will I be before or after?
 
Ooooo I might give the online chat a go today then! Pretty sure the salesman I emailed will be getting bored of all my questions now
