Dans A4 B7 3.0 Tdi S-Line Avant Black Edition Auto

I just put the ignition on, popped the new disc in, it made a few wired noises, I would take a photo of the current version and check it has a newer number. And a quick check for locations.

Mine came with a FASH I had the gearbox done as a precaution, but probably was not necessary. Not sure about the chains, have read a bit about the oil pumps. There is loads of info on here. Got any photos?

Nice, I like black cars and the old sko0l alloys! The only think I'm not a fan of, and my car has this is the S-Line suspension.

Whys that mate? Too harsh.
Yeah the old alloys look alright actually. Plan to replace them eventually. But for the time being I think I'll coilover it on them.

Just hooding it's as tidy in real life as it looks. FSH. All Audi apart from the last two. How much is a service on these things? And do you know what oil they recommend? I read somewhere they take 8ltrs.

You mentioned that you had the gearbox oil done. I thought they were sealed units?

Audi service in Plymouth is 199 for oil only and 299 for a oil, fuel filters etc. I'll do it myself.

5-30 is the one for mine according to its Audi service history.

They are sealed for life as the Audi service desk told me, but then they also gave me a quote for the oil, filter, gasket and labour to do it????? Also on the ZF website and Audi USA they give a schedule of 60K for the gearbox. On my BMW it was recommended.

But

This is the internet and there are zone horror stories of new oil in an old gear box and it causing trouble.

I plan to run the Audi until it dies so I'll service it myself. No need for dealer stamps. Acres to a 2 & 4 post as well do makes life easier. Hopefully it goes strong for a few years!

Always wanted a b7 avant.
