Hello

As above. Have a '07 plate s line...
From searching can't find answer

What springs do I need to lower it as s line springs look to be lower...

Which h&r or eibach do I need?

Thanks in advance

If you want S-line height go with Eibach pro springs, if you want it lower go with Eibach sportline springs, I changed my s-line setup for a bilstein B12 kit that came with pro springs and there was no difference in ride hight and sort of wished I went with sportlines as they lower the front another 15/20mm on the front and 5/10mm on the rear.

If you can afford it I would get the Bilstein B12 sportline kit.
Also get some RS3 topmounts, new bearings and dust covers for the shafts. so its all new. Thats what I did.
More cost effective in the long run, also the Bilstein B8 dampers are better matched to the sportline springs than your original saches shocks that are probably past there sell by date now, 100k on a set of shocks is about the limit and if you fit springs that are lower than the original shock was used to, it might not last long.

using the sportline eibach kit as mentioned above by audismart

will 19s rub on these springs???

19s with with 8j and offset 43ish should be good to go with 225/35/19 tyres.
A smaller offset and you will need to start stretching the tyre widths with 215s.

8j et 45 ?? 225? 235?

Or what about about on standard s line springs

Lol. Obviously all new to you and here comes the learning curve.
225 is how wide the tread width of the tyre.
8j is the rim width that the inside of the tyre sits on.
Okay so the 8j is how wide the rim is that the tyre sits on, so a standard 18" Audi A3 rim that takes 225 width tyre is 7.5j and will take a tyre tread width of 195 to 235.
An 8j will accommodate wider tyre widths that a 7.5j wont, from 215 to 245 tread width tyre.

The ET43 is how far from the hub on the car the wheel sits.
So a standard ET on an 18" Audi A3 wheel is ET54, the higher the ET the closer to the hub the wheel will fit.
Also the lower the ET the further out the wheel will be from the car and sit more flush on the arches of the car, if you got an ET32, you will have to get 215 tyres so they dont foul the arches when the spring compresses. Thats why you need an ET43.
Hope that helps.

Also just to note that 19" wheel will run a lower profile tyre so as to have the same diameter wheel and tyre as the 18"
So the profile on the 18" tyre is 40 and the 19" is 35. which equates to 5cm or 1".
