Same for me mate, i love driving a car actually operating it, not just the ride so i feel more in tune with whats going on and probably a little bit more in control of the car in certain circumstances with a manual box.

I prefer a manual whatever size the engine to be honest, auto and semi auto's may be all in now and super smooth with 7 or even 8 speeds but i prefer being in control of the gearbox , allways have done and allways will, just a personal thing i supose.

My thoughts exactly Rob Lol. It is a beautiful red s-line but I always have my hand on the gear stick and one on the wheel. i bought it for quickness but it was my fiancee's choice. I'm seriously thinking of trading it in (kill the whole wheel problem). Thinking logically it might cost me an extra £1500-£2000 but I was going to pay up to £1000 originally for wheels. I'll pst a picture when I get it. Lol

Yes Tony that is the plan. However I broke my instep (left foot) about 25 years ago so obviously automatic would be better from that point of view. Might opt for semi auto at least I can still use gear hand to change up or down. Lol
