I know its a longshot, but is anyone selling a used Milltek exhaust system?

LOL! Tried allsorts /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif Oh well mate, I can't really iamgine a secondhand one will go for much less anyway. If your after the sound then have the middle box removed, leaving the cat's and back box.

I've got an S4 system on my 1800T, and I had the sort of triangular mid box removed, and it now sounds lovely. Not obtrusive but nicely deeper than standard. Only cost £20 to do.

Its more the increase in performance I want - a Milltek will give me an extra 20bhp - I would have 343bhp then which seems like a nice figure!!!!

You are brave telling your wife ibboS4. I usually go do it and then apologise once she finds out.

Get the exhaust, then once she start shouting at you for blowing your car budget just rev your engine and drown out her nagging with that lovely new exhaust sound /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Hmm, how many times have I heard these claims about Milltek systems?

The S3 system does not yield much power at all (3-4bhp 5lbft) and the S4 system gives little more.

Do not buy this system with the expectation that you will get loads more power as you won't. Local RR runs recently with an APR S4, oem exhuast vs miltek, the difference was about 5bhp and 10lbft. Not worth the money.

However, it DOES sound lovely, and fits better than the stock exhaust.

Its main benefits are improving the torque curve across the rev range which cant be bad. I think a post by Dippy on another thread said something like this, may have been on rs246.

I'm not saying its bad, just that 5-10lbft over the rev band is not worth the money. You do get a very nice products with a very good sound though.

Dont' beleive Milteks claims...

can you replace the KO3s with the KO4s without any other modifications?
Damn, that car of yours is gonna be monster with those KO4s!
If you are getting the KO4s then you may wanna look at the miltek later on as it may be benfical for the car, helps it breathe easier.

Hi s4sh. I am currently negotiating the labour charges with AMD at the mo as well as seeing what else is needed. If the bill is too much I may have to can that particular project /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif. If it is a goer, should reach around the 425bhp mark!!

I was at AMD yesterday & a guy was their who has an RS4 running at 650BHP!!! The fastest RS4 in the country apparently!
