Planning to lower the car as well as adding spacers to give it a better stance. Anyone currently running H&R springs? If so how is the ride quality compared to stock?

Have been looking at costs and it seems to be around £200 for springs with a 20mm drop and spacers around £85-100, are these prices correct or should I be looking elsewhere?

Thanks for the help

Prices seems spot on - check out www.orange-tuning.de

That is where i buy all my h&r stuff and usually works out a bit cheaper than UK prices.

I had H&R in my S3 8P, S4 B8 and my Scirocco R - I will 100% be going for H&R again

Eurocarparts sell H&R spacers so check them out as they have a lot of online discount codes where you could save a bit

I have 10mm and 12mm spacers from my Scirocco I plan to use in the future.

I'm running the H&R supersport springs on mine. These are the lower version of the two options.

They're firm. Firmer than stock, but not uncomfortable. I've ran them for over 100k miles now and shocks are still going strong.

I have had H&R's in two last cars. 8P and B8. And Vogtlands in one B8.
For the coming 8V I am considering again Vogtlands.
Why? Because the ride is not so harsh compared to H&R.

That's good to hear, I'll have a look at eurocarparts. Have also been looking at TPI spacers, seem to be just as good for a slightly cheaper price

That looks perfect! Are you running any spacers along with it? And is that a 25mm drop with the supersports?

Do you have a product number for the springs on an 8V?

No spacers here fella. Wheels are 8.5x19 - unsure on offset.

What are your alloys off? Are they 20"? Was hoping to buy a set of those for my main alloys and keep the ones the S3 comes with as winter ones. How much if you don't mind me asking?

They're 19" RS6 replicas. Expect to pay around £450 - £500 at current prices.
