I am very disappointed to hear this from customer services. It has already happened with the Audi A3 face lifted models so when the dealer in the showroom tells you they don't "currentyl" have one and will let you know when they do they are either ill informed or lying. Looking at a nice glossy brochure at one's leisure is part and parcel of the buying experience. It is also nice to be able to keep as a momento of a car you once owned in the future. It is also useful when considering buying a new model because you can look back and compare specs with the previous model whereas only the current model is available on line. I don't really think that 20 loose pages of plain A4 paper printed out, even by the dealer, is an adequate substitute for a brochure and does not do justice to a once renown upmarket brand. Furthermore many elderly customers may not be on line and so won't have access to the brochure at all.
It is extremely disappointing when the price of an Audi A3 has gone up by £500 and when spending around £20k + on a car you can't even get a proper brochure. In general my whole buying experience from Audi has been disappointing. As an "upmarket" brand I had been expecting much more and it will definitely affect my buying decision in the future.
