Finally bought one!

Hello everyone!

I've been lurking on here since I got my diesel A3 in 2014 but for some reason i've never actually posted anything, found the site extremely useful though.

Had a thing for an S3 ever since getting the A3, but figured due to my age it would be out of reach for a long time...but good news 2 years later I am now one month into ownership of a gorgeous Misano Red S3 Sportback.

It has all the options I wanted minus the super-sports seats...but you cannot have everything. Got a cracking deal on it for such a low mileage car with a good specification.

Done a silly amount of miles since taking delivery and have enjoyed every single one of them. Makes me smile everytime I get in it...still cannot believe it is actually mine.

Planning on doing the "exhaust valve mod" soon and maybe a few other little things...one half of me is thinking stage one, the other "sensible" half saying do I need more power? Looks like it will be stage one in no time:yes:

I'm from Carlisle in Cumbria, so if there's any local people on here i'm always up for a drive.

Im from Cockermouth Jonny, not an Audi owner as of yet but potentially will be by the end of the year, had a test drive in a facelift from Carlisle audi but didn't go through with a PCP deal, think im going to go down the second hand route later this year. Feel free to come and take me for a spin though! ;)

Give me a shout the next time you're in Carlisle, will gladly take you out in it! I did look at the facelift there but wasn't too keen on the rear, the virtual dash and pops and bangs did tempt me though:grimacing:
 
my main interest in it is the rear and how it is slightly different! (and the pops and bangs obviously!) I will do if I remember, cheers buddy :)

did you get it from Carlisle audi?

No problem! Bought mine from Glasgow Audi, I contacted Carlisle Audi and told them what I was after but they didn't seem all that interested at the time..could be the fact i'm 19, probably thought I was just messing:sadlike:

I'm 18 and had a relatively similar experience with them.... when it comes to this October and I confirm that I still want one I don't think I will be paying them a visit. had a look at a PCP deal over Xmas but decided not to go ahead
