I need to update mine to 2017 as well. Did you upgrade MMI to k0942 as well?

Finally got time to go through your whole thread, what a great car with a few hiccups (I'd have been so ****** with the windscreen, was this an insurance claim and did it affect your claims/premiums?).

I think the A6 avant is a beautiful car and i think estate looks usually ruin beutiful looking cars (I'm looking at you Jag XF) but I think the A6 Avant looks better than its saloon counterpart, had also concidered one before settling on the A7.

Haven't even got my car yet but you've gave me some great ideas keep up the great work.

Yeah I was well ****** at the screen. Only cost me £50 via my insurance though so not to bad. It 'shouldn't' affect my premium but I won't find out until April when my insurance is due

I badly want an RS6 grill

It doesn't help Barclaycard offered me 0% on purchases for 12 months just the other day.........

After that it will be a good detailing session to get the paintwork up to scratch. Think that will be it then as the car now has pretty much everything I need / want :)

I didn't know the body was much different on the all road? I thought it was just the air suspension and the choice to have plastic lower panelling.

The front bumper and grill is different I'm afraid. I've been wanting to change the grill since day one. And people just don't sell them.

Do you reckon you can swap Audi logo from old grill as I'm looking to change mine as well but I got front camera.

According to the seller you have to modify the camera mount

I guess I'll find out next week. Fitting arranged for next Wednesday as that when my mate and his garage is free :D
 
What a ball ache........took far longer than I anticipated due to the fact myself and Huw had to make a fair bit of modification to the grille in order to get my front camera to fit tidy and make it look factory fit. The interesting thing is the ORIGINAL grill itself is cut by hand in order to fit the camera!! I'll try and get a pic of that at some point

Looks amazingly aggressive now. How hard was modification to get camera fitted as you know mine got front camera as well.

I want one NOW!!! Take my money and shut up :racer:

It took about an hour of cutting a filing and test fitting in order to get it spot on. If you look at the grill on its own further up we cut the three bits under the rings in order to create enough space for the mount to fit. There are two pieces to the mount; a front piece and a rear piece. The camera is screwed into the rear piece

I'm really pleased with how it looks, just it was a bit of a faff!!
 
Yes man it looks awesome. Completely changed the look of car IMO
