Got up this morning to find all my windows opened, which was very unhelpful given the weather apparently can happen on the keyfob? I see references on other forums to disabling this on the MMI and want to do that as it's a feature I'll never use.

Can someone talk me through it as I can't find any appropriate settings? 66 plate FL S-Line with tech pack if that helps.

Im not sure of the exact place without being at my car, but if you press the menu button, select car, then System/settings within there, usually the bottom right nav button then it's in there under convenience I think

Mines PFL so different I expect but I've disabled side windows but enabled sunroof tilt - quite handy opening/closing the roof through the office windows when the warmer weather is here of course!

OK, I'm very likely being dense so apologies (first Audi) but when I went to the car settings all I seemed to have was the drive select (auto / comfort etc) when I went to just settings, it seemed to be just settings for the MMI rather than the car. Appreciate I may be being dense.

From memory then hit the lower left button which relates to 'Car Systems' or something on the MMI screen.

It then under one of those settings I think central locking

Thanks I'll go and do it at lunchtime. If I get totally stuck I'll record a video and you can tell me why I'm an idiot. :) If I manage I'll post the exact location here for anyone else who googles it in future.

In PFL :-

Menu-Car-Car Systems-Vehicle Settings-Central Locking-Long Press to open Windows

Then there are front windows, rear windows and sunroof boxes - tick to activate, untick to deactivate.

Got it, thank you - my mistake was that for some reason whenever I go into car settings it was taking me to drive select and I hadn't realised I could press left to get to more options. I've found it and disabled it now, although still got to work out how to dry the seats out...

Drive Select is the default screen for FL cars when "Car Settings" is selected. Am still not used to this after coming from a PFL.

One thing that has really annoyed me, and am trying to see if anything can be done via coding, is that Audi have seen fit to remove "remote" options from the FL. PFL cars have the following options for remote open and close:
  • include or exclude Front windows
  • include or exclude Back windows
  • include or exclude Sunroof
FL cars have.... Remote open / close On or Off and thats it lol

That sucks - all or nothing !!

I'm not really sure why you would want anything but 'all' anyway really. I turned it all off after I accidentally leant on the buttons in my pocket and found the windows open when I went out to the car... just in time for it to start raining too!

Useful in the summer in order to let all the hot air out of the car before getting in, that's all I really use it for.

Same issue with the interior lighting on FL, it's all or nothing. I want my B&O speakers lights to be full but the footwell lights less but in FL they are all controlled together rather than separately like PFL. I guess they thought it would be better to be simpler, but that's not always the case!

Pretty sure I am able to control all the different lighting elements. Will check in the morning if Storm Doris has not blown my car away.

Hey,

How can you open the windows down by the key-fob if you don't mind answering ?
