Anyone has the Bilstein B8 shocks?

If you have had Bilstein B8 shocks for your Audi A3/S3 8V, could you please comment on the level of comfort?

I am worried about it being too harsh. I am curious whether it is a lot harder than the S3 standard suspension or the S3 mag ride in Dynamic mode.

I can't comment yet as I haven't got round to fitting them they are still in the box. I will comment soon.
 
another interested here. I looking for Bilstein B8 + Eibach pro-kit..... here this pack is 700€...

Hmm, so few people with experience with Bilstein B8? :)
 
in for comments....might drive one soon with B8 sport on stock springs and will report back

Thanks. I already got the Bilstein B12 kit with the Eibach springs and B8 shocks. Definitely a much better suspension setup than all of the A3/S3 OEM suspension I have driven.

my issue is I don't want to lower my car....Bilsteins lower from 25mm including the B12 kit....

from what i have gathered....if you don't want to lower (like me) then you need the B6 HD shocks for use on stock springs

Did you get that great deal on a used RS3 yet? lol ....and yes my car is still "special"....bit faster....but I know you don't want to hear about that lol

Lol....still waiting on the new facelift RS3 mate....should be available to order around September,good to see ya back on the forum...dont be a stranger........lol

Relative to the S3, the B12 kit only lowers it by 10 mm (from 3 to 2 finger gaps between the tire and fender).

Thanks for the reply...now does this apply also to the B16s do you know ie. Only a 10mm drop on an S3?
