Humm... Yeah but I don't think it stands out enough at the traffic light Grand Prix. I like them... Maybe I'll build a collection and swap them around as the mood takes me lol.

Go chrome if that's the look you're after mate - the carbon ones look almost body colour from a distance on Daytona so actually quite subtle (which is why I like em).
Last I remember they were £566 +VAT per pair, almost exactly double that of the carbon ones I bought.

Do you think many people notice them Rob? I know they're carbon fiber but do they not blend in a bit with the grey if you are more than 20 yards away? don't get me wrong they are smart and I would consider them, but just a question

Only those that go the extra mile and look for and appreciate the detail which for me is part of the appeal - wanted my car to be kinda stealthy.
The silver caps are plastic anyway at least these are 'real' carbon so there was also that element for me and should they get damaged they're half the price of the silver caps.
Yup that's about right. When I had mine knicked Audi wanted £370 each for them. I went with the carbon fibre ones for £300 for both instead. Trouble with buying from ebay is you're just feeding the thieves to take them from someone else's car as there's a demand for them.
Saw some the other day from a main dealer, good price as well...i'll try and find the dealer I was looking at.....

Had mine nicked off my S3 8P except they snap the full mirror off and cut cables, it happenedtwice to me andaudi wanted just under £1500 for supply and fitYup that's about right. Wow, the prices are flipped here in the States. USD$700+ for set of Carbon. USD$500+ for set of Aluminum.
So seriously, you UK guys can get the carbon mirror set for £200? Well heck, I'll just buy it overseas and have it shipped.
Yep on Ebay sold by Audi dealers so no concerns of being the copy versions. Were as low as £169 a few months back but starting to creep up now.
We've gotta get something from Audi thats cheaper....than it is from youYanks...your cars are cheaper...lol
I bought some copies from Germany for £100 on the bay. You would never know they weren't gen. Fitted like a glove.

I got mine in Jan, car was down for build week 8. Wanted to have them ready lol
They were indeed from jct600.
They were £179 for the pair delivered. Not dirt cheap but cheap enough for me to take the plunge. When I had to buy some last time as my silvers were removed for me by some kind soul, I think I paid around £320. I thought it was pretty good for new, oem and from an Audi dealer so I know they're genuine.
Looks like mine is build week 15.
