yourAudi - Track New Car Order

My cynicism about the accuracy of the tracking system has taken another boost. Having been status 30 on 1st Feb, 38 on the 4th, 39 on the 5th, the dealer phoned me today and said "your car is here" :). The only issue being that they are booked up for getting it delivered to me until next Monday :-o

The dealer has just emailed me saying that on their system, the car is at code 38 and has been released to a ship. I'm even more impressed than I already was. I only ordered the car on 19th January!

Mines slipped back another week, 3 in total now. Now forecast as BW17, ordered on 7th Jan and at this rate won't get it until end of May/ early June
 
Had email today from lease company and mine is built and sat at the docks waiting for ship. They said to expect delivery end of Feb/early march. I can't use the Audi tracker but hoping it doesn't take to long. Anyone else at docks waiting for ship what do you use to track ships ?

Just got an email from the dealer saying that the car is at the dock waiting to be shipped. The tracker is still showing in QC...

You can see all ships, times, destination docks etc on http://www.marinetraffic.com but you will never know if your car is on board...

Looking at the ships in/out Emden to/from Sheerness it seems that City of Oslo could be the one. That is just my opinion but in any case you will never know if your car is on it...

Yer without the tracker I just have to hope it's boarded a ship I would normally be patient but my old car went on the 21st Dec (thought I'd run the van and save money while waiting) then yesterday my van broke down so I'm without a vehicle now

It has to be that one! It does Sheerness/Emden/Sheerness every 4 days so if is not on this round it will definitely be on the next (4 days time). My optimism surprises me at times....
...ouch do they work week ends? Yes they do!

I still don't think codes 21-25 are real, all the others come with timing, they just seem setup to trigger the customer experience stuff to build the excitement of the car buying process.

I might be a little sceptical, but I wouldn't be putting my yourAudi log in details into a site with a Central African Republic domain name.

Surely receiving Gmails from JoeyT would set alarm bells ringing?? Who's to say they're not just logging into the yourAudi website anyway but using your details elsewhere? Even if it's just spamming your email address

Still showing QC but informed by the dealer that the car is at the port in Emden...
I believe the tracker will start again once the car gets scanned on the boat... I will let you know if it is the case as I am watching the ships traffic live....

Didn't spot the domain, fair point! I changed the password straight after so we'll see
 
City of Oslo due in to sheerness tomorrow. Hopefully Mine will be on that :)

I went on there .....d ohhhh and I've reported the site to Google. Under phishing/spam. I can't seem to get the email ....the joey one reported to them so maybe someone else can try to do it

Just had email saying that mine is still at the docks and that the reason it's still there is because mine is a 17 delivery and that they have to get all the 66plate vehicles delivered 1st. Even tho I told them I would rather have it on a 66 plate :mad:

The dealer phoned this morning to say it's in the U.K. waiting for a transporter. Just got the email from Audi saying it's on the boat and the tracker is still on "left Ingolstadt". As long as I get it in March, I'm happy!

Been informed by my the dealership that there is no chance for the car being delivered before the new tax changes!! Ouchy that is gonna sting next year!! :(:(
 
audi upgrades
Mine is status 24 since 6th Feb. Had an email 10th Feb to say it has left the factory. Online still says status 24 (in quality control)

Don't take the tracker too seriously. Mine it shows in quality control and just received an email that the car is on the ship. Same as you build started on the 6th...

So today I've been emailed all the Audi finance docs and it has the reg number on vin number etc so does this mean it's in the uk as I can't track anything and last I was told is it's waiting for a boat ?

After reading it all it says registration date 3rd march 2017 so guessing that's when it will be there or will be with me as the finance starts from that date.

Mine said left Ingolstadt on 04/02, 17 days later it still says left Ingolstadt and is still on code 30 :(

Inspired by the flurry of posts above, I've just called the dealersand although the tracker hasn't changed (BW 17), the dealer has emailed a screen shot from there system, indicating the my order has recovered back to the originally quoted BW 14!
I'm still slightly optimistic of a betterment on the date

Its only meant to be a rough guide to appease buyers, but mine worked fantastically well. I doubt Audi through much IT resources at it but at least its better than the non-existent Ford or Seat offerings...
 
My new car is set to be an early March delivery, as planned.

The car actually arrived at the dealer on 2 February, however I had an e-mail from Audi UK last week to say it was on a boat and according to the tracker it is Status 38 i.e. still at Emden. When it arrived at the dealer the tracker said it was in its third week of QC. I wouldn't trust any of them until you're actually sat in it.

Mine is still showing status 40 "in the UK", and I have been driving it since last Thursday...
