yourAudi - Track New Car Order

If your impatient like me and want to view all the stages in youraudi even though you are still in the order received stage.

Open up the web browsers development tools, select an HTML element like preparation go to the console in developer tools and enter the following:

angular.element($0).scope().orderstatus = 70

This will trick the webpage into thinking your car is ready for collection, you should now be able to click around and view any of the videos.

Pity it won't make the car come any faster.

.View attachment 117735

Couldn't get this to work with the angular element command, but just selecting an element and editing the status code in the element directly sorted it for me.

This is all rather strange. Much earlier in this thread a couple of members registered with a website youraudi/cf. Some were not too sure about this site as it's not part of Audi AG but all the site wants to know is your email address, your order number and a password. I used a unique password that I had not use anywhere else. Once registered the site sent me emails giving me the progress on my car on a daily basis once the production had started. Each email also gave the history so far together with a full list of the items used to build my particular A3. This is an example of the status data:

Your order status has changed from 20 - Preparation to 30 - Left Factory!
Your Audi has left the factory.
Audi A3 Sportback Sport 2.0 TDI quattro 184 PS S tronic
Colour: Floret silver, metallic
Current Status: 30
Order Date: 15/11/2016
Build Week: 16/01/2017 (BW03)
Order History:
Status 24 - 16/01/2017
Status 23 - 14/01/2017
Status 22 - 13/01/2017
Status 21 - 12/01/2017
Status 20 - 13/12/2016
Status 10 - 19/11/2016

I received an email every time the status changed. So if you are happy to use this website - make sure you use a unique password and you may well get the same information as me.
My A3 has now arrived at my dealers and I will be collecting it, probably on 2nd March to avoid the rush of the 1st. I will then be taking on holiday back to Germany on 5 March for a week.
Stage 30? Iv only got steps 1-9

Read page five of this thread, I believe the stages (10+) are on there :)

EDIT: Also found out on Thursday that orders are locked in four weeks before the build date. After this time your build week is guaranteed and any changes will be rejected by the factory... Mine should be soon then :D

Mines due 3rd of march which is 2 weeks earlier then quoted, went and paid for it Thursday waiting is killing me now

My delivery date was 15-02-17 but he said it will be first few days in march it's ready to board the ship now. Ordered it beginning of December although it says I ordered it on 03-11-16 so I'm guessing they had a build slot already open that I took

Lets hope it's not like mine, 2 weeks today it's been in QC. Mrs is picking up her new Q2 tonight so will ask the dealer if they can get an update.

Hope not! Maybe they found a few issues on yours that needing sorting, hence the delay?

Would be the likely scenario. Spoke to Audi Live and they said get the dealer to give me an update. My luck is tosh so hopefully yours will fly through ;)

P.s. I was build week 6.

The wife's car has been shown in QC for over two weeks now whilst simultaneously showing Status 20 "preparing to build". It's actually been sitting at Grimsby since Saturday!!!

This looks like they are playing pass the hot potato.

Scenario 1 There is a problem with your build
Scenario 2 Q.C is being used as a bucket to bulk delay orders
Scenario 3 The Tracker isn't worth the effort of watching because it's unreliable.

I favour the third
Surely there is some form of Q.C at each stage so the final Q.C shouldn't take weeks
My order is mirroring your progress , although a week behind, and from a different factory.
Week 8 orders are starting to follow the same pattern we discussed last week.
50% of the time mine is shown as a black edition which it is not.
This is a common issue and I would have thought a simple IF...THEN..ELSE.. patch could correct this, but so far it still has the same "bug"
There are several postings where a car is in the country, but the tracker shows otherwise.

I.M.H.O. the the only true indication of the orders progress will be when you get a notification from the dealer that it's arrived
I just hope the M.M.I. software is better than their Tracker.

Mine and yours is definitely mirroring one another's progress. Considering my car is being built in a different factory due to being a saloon.....I'm finding it very hard to believe what i see on the tracker. I can only hope it's the case because it really is going be so close to the end of March early april delivery.... which means by a day here or there, will ultimately decide wether this car is going to cost me an extra 1.5k or not, which makes me feel a little anxious.....1.5k is a lot of money and would rather it goes towards the interest owed on the car by choosing to go down the pcp route.

The salesman has reassured me it will be delivered in march.

To which the last email I have had no reply.
The obvious fact is that the dealers themselves can't do much about when your car gets here..... but for me I was told the car would definitely be here before the new tax rules come in to effect.... and I quote the word of Nick (salesman) were exactly as they are in the email which was said to me once before when putting a deposit down "I can assure you that your car will be here for delivery in March, even if I have to go to Germany and get it myself!"
To help persuade my doubts in the car not getting here before April, I was actually told the car would be here mid February and was advised if it did to wait a few weeks for a 17 plate. I was stupid to believe that....but in my defence I have never bought a brand new car so wouldn't of known this.

Hi Sean,
I am having a very similar conversation with my dealer with the exception that my car doesn't get built til 6th March. She has assured me delivery in March ( along with 3 other customers too) so here's hoping we both get a happy out come. Bl***dy government bleeding more out of the working man's pocket....even when you are trying to save the environment...As i have said to my dealer i would even look at other cars she has available rather than pay the government...

A couple of us on here have a build date of 6th March for Saloons, and I think we've all been told April/May delivery. Hope you're the exception!

Hi Well_cool, Yes me too. Would have looked at getting a deal on the S3 if i had know it was going to be after April. Went for economy and environmentally friendly with 1.4tfi COD.

How long have people been experiencing on waiting for their car to be put on a ship etc?
Dealer said it would arrive by 1st March ready for the 17 plate. :)

Stupid question but my build week is next week

Tracker is still at status 10

Is that to be expected?

Hoping for some movement tonight... mines BW8 with a start date of today. Still stage 1.

Hi guys,

Sorry about posting in the A3 section even though I am ordering an A5 but I've been keeping tabs on this forum for a while now especially this thread. Oh and also the A5 forums are non existent

I was wondering if any of you received a direct email from Audi sayings that the car has passed quality control and that it's on the way? My car has been sitting in QC on the tracker for a week now and it is strange that since I received this email (13.02.17) nothing has changed on the tracker. It's Still at status 24 QC. Oh and also my build week was 7. So if I were to go by the email I received, the car was built and passed quality control on the day it was supposed to start getting built.

I have 6th march for my sport back and my estimated delivery is 10th April...

Seems the tracker shouldn't be trusted

I would check with your dealer?

I'm build week 8 and went into QC this morning.

Sweet, looking good for a pre April delivery for you! Just hope Audi will show me some love and start mine rolling.

After reading these comments, my build date of 20th March and the dealers guarantee of pre-April delivery looks skeptical :(

My personal opinion would be that there's no chance :pensive:

I have the same build date and I'm hoping to get some luck and have it registered before April, no idea if that's possible at all. How is yours looking on the tracker? Mine hasn't changed to prep yet.

Anyone know what the earliest point a car can be registered? Presume it's before delivery but also presume the car has to at the very least be in the country?
