Hi,

Last weekend I part-ex'd my 2009 '59' Octavia vRS CR170 for a 2008 '08' A4 SE 3.0l V6 TDI in Aruba Blue, only had it a week and already covered ~700 miles. Just looking at idea's as to what is recommended in terms of upgrades etc. Will post more details later, but it has decent spec: 2G Sat Nav, Heated Full Leather Sports Seats, B&O Sound System, Auto Lights/Wipers, Audi Drive Select, Audi MMI, Rear Parking Sensors, Bluetooth (Phone prep only), have also had activated TPMS, Parking Display, Battery Monitor, Cornering Fogs.

Will post pictures in the next few days.

Chris

So far, I am. pleased to have changed from the Octavia

Hi Chris, welcome to audi-sport.net. Nice spec on the car. Hope you enjoy the forum. :) x

Happy with the performance, but feel a cheeky remap and straight thru wont go amiss ;)
Loving the sound of the V6 TDi

Is it possible to retrofit cruise control or adaptive cruise control?

Bit of an update, car is going in for some work next Saturday.
Getting the EGR cooler bypassed (suspect a seal has gone inside and is leaking) and a EGR delete due to it sticking :)

Started to do a few minor external changes to the car, currently sanding, priming and spraying the fog light surrounds and rear diffuser gloss black.
Will post pictures once all complete

Looking good, once you head down this road there's no stopping....

Not much has changed, hopefully seen the end of a few issues related to the car.
So to cheer me up a bit, ended up getting a DPF delete (one of the previous issues) and remap :)

309bhp and 468lb/ft :)

Need to find two replacement rear alloys or replace the full set (would prefer to keep to 18'' and OE)

Decided to have the remap redone by Rick at Unicorn Developments.
Before results 297bhp and 479lb/ft, then Rick worked his magic and left with 328bhp and 550lb/ft :D

Good results there, another 30bhp and 70lb/ft ' just ' from getting the map as best as it could be. How does it drive in comparison to before?

Drives so much better, till this morning when the front spring snapped :(
