Car needs replacement front springs but the Sachs Coil Springs are £91 each from euro car parts & I've always wanted coilovers to lower 10mm to match the s-line & also to stop understeer & lose weight. Do these ones above look good & will they fit a quattro?

A. They are tooooooooo cheap.
B. They are not FK, FK would be way better and cost a lot more.
C. Looking good has no bearing on how they perform.
D. How do loose weight? with these.

Cheap garbage, KW if you're wanting coils.

Why not just get springs like Eibach or H&R?

Thanks dg-1984, but unless anyone says otherwise on the forum I think I'll order the FK coilovers for £230.

If comfort is on your list of something you want from a car then fk coilovers certainly won't give you that.

If you just want it lowered with no regard to handling and comfort then they are for you

Thanks for the info. Yea I do alot of driving up the highlands so comfort is very important to me. I thought I could just change the coilovers to be medium/soft & that would be comparable to the standard springs?

You just want to get some 30mm eibach or h and r springs to fit onto your existing shocks then it'll sit 5mm lower than an s line and still be relatively comfy.
If you get them from Euro car parts then they'll be exactly same as what you have got already as they don't do springs for s lines. I have an s line and the garage I use uses Euro car parts to supply them and I had to have my rear springs replaced. As soon as I picked the car up I could clearly see it were a lot higher, it turns out that the lowest springs Euro sell are for the sport model so they sent them, the garage took them back off and I got my own s line springs from tps.
If I were you I wouldn't even buy s line springs either though as the ride is quite hard so I'd definitely go eibach or h and r if I were you.

Nope definitely not, you'll have to spend a few hundred more to get comfy coilovers like that.

If your only wanting to go to s line ride height and comfort it what you want then eibach sportline or h&r 50mm springs if what ur after

If he's wanting s line height then he doesn't want h and r 50mm springs as an s line is only 25mm lower than standard height so if he did that he'd be a lot lower than he'd be wanting

It's a sportback so only 10mm lower for the s-line. Thanks very much for all the info guys, it's appracated.

Yes but when measuring for springs they base it on standard SE height so your sport is 15mm lower and s line 25mm lower so if you're wanting s line height then you need 25mm springs if you can find any. A lot of people run the eibachs or h&r of which you can get 30mm so a very similar height to s line and still relatively comfortable to drive on, or 50mm which obviously are quite noticeably lower than s line

Yeah they're the ones buddy.
If you get those it'll sit 5mm lower than an s line and it should be a comfier ride than what it would be if you got s line springs.
Ive got an s Line quattro and one of the springs needs replacing so I've been looking these up and I think it's what I'll be getting instead of buying a replacement s Line spring
