guten Abend!

Bought this today

It's a 2.0 litre S-Line Black Edition and I pick it up on Wednesday.

Just sold my A4 B7 which had Quattro and I'm sure I'll miss it, but need more space and this fits the bill nicely.

Looks really good - I am sure you will enjoy it.

Very nice sir, would've had the Avant if something suitable had come up.

Thanks, guys.
Not a fan of the 21" Rotar (Rotor?) wheels (should empty my bank account when I need new tyres!!!) but they'll stay as the ride is still not as harsh as I'd expected.
Interior is a very nice place to be, so I'm really looking forward to picking it up on Wednesday evening and driving home from Doncaster!

I missed out on a '12 Quattro with S Tronic in gorgeous Scuba Blue, but y'know what? I think I prefer Daytona Grey - bit more classy!

Love blue cars - had a few including a GSi 24V Carlton in Subaru WRX Blue - looked fantastic!
Bright colours look great on sportier cars, but the A6 is a bit more refined.

Those wheels are 20's if the same as mine. Looking at around £130-£150 a corner for half decent rubber.

Drove it home tonight - awesome motorway cruiser, quiet as a mouse, adequate performance, comfortable and refined ........... but the annoying rattle of the passenger's seat belt clip when going over a rough patch in the road - that's got to stop!
I'll check out the wheel and tyre size tomorrow, it was advertised (by Doncaster Audi) as 21".

Glad you've got and are enjoying the car :)

I wouldn't worry about the size too much, i went from 21" rotar arm wheels to 19" and both tyres fill the arches really well that you wouldn't really notice any differnce, although you really notice the difference inside the car.

20" is probably acceptable with all but the roughest roads on 35mm tyres, 21" with their 30mm are only suitable for smooth roads and not really acceptable on this type of car where you expect it to be a comfortable cruiser. Also prices of 21" wheels are ridiculous and you've probably saved about £200 a set having 20's.

Anyone able to tell me if the door mirrors can fold up electrically?
The options on the menu don't seem the same as in the handbook!

They can, but they are a paid option, on the drivers door there should be a small twisty knob where you adjust the mirrors, if you have electric mirros there will be an option at the bottom to force them to fold in electrically.

If your certain you should have automatic folding mirrors when you lock the car you may need to get an update from the dealers or look for a tutorial to try and enable it in the audi hidden menu.

Cheers, Chobbit.

I do have the twisty knob: left adjust - heated - right adjust.
I have no idea if the folding option is fitted or not - kind of assumed that it might have been a standard fitment.

On that nob can you rotate it further around and is there a symbol picture at the bottom of the dial?

I'll try and take a picture today.
