Yeah I'm pretty happy with how it's came out.

To be fair if it wasn't for people keeping me waiting/not knowing what they were doing but acting like they did/doing nothing and wasting my time it could have been done in a few months but I think in total the car was probably off the road for around two and a half years.

I prefer the b6 rear end haha especially now I can park next to b6's/b7's knowing that the owners will come back checking out my car and also scratching their heads.

Got a turbo back exhaust being fitted Wednesday amongst a load of other stuff but I guess that's all for another thread, might just make a progress/mods so far thread at some point because despite the car looking fairly OEM almost every part has been taken from another model, even Adrian Flux said it had too many mod's for them.

That super annoying but as far as i know (form looking at much older posts) you are one of the first people to attempt this so hats off to you. If budget permits, I may be following suit. Im just know something will go wrong along the way.

Haha you definiitely will have people scratching their heads at your B6/B7 Hybrid. :)

Lol..if Adrian Flux said its too modded up then thats kudos to you!! Yes please, definitely start a build thread. Would be a very interesting read.

Do post up a little vid of the exhaust note on your new install. Going decat?

Yeah, think it's a bit easier on cab's but just expect to be off the road for a while.

I might get a video up, yeah nothing fancy just trying to iron out any restrictions/unnecessary parts; single 2.5 inch turbo back with a discrete/hidden tip.

Hi Jake

Which front wings did you use in the end ?

Ended up cutting the front off b7 saloon wings and rear off the b6 then welding them together, can't really comment much on how this went as my friend did it.

So gathering up parts would you say its usual for the conversion;

B7 Bonnet
B7 front wings
B7 front bumper (saloon, avant, cabriolet)
B7 Bumper Grills
B7 slam panel. Like for like engine.
B7 Lights
B7 Looms for lights

Yeah, if you can find a loom pick it up well in advance as the connection for my lights was already in pieces.

Expect to spend £800+ in parts and £500+ labour and that's if your doing it on the cheap.

Looks amazing, best of both worlds!
