Does Anyone Know What These Are?

I came out this morning to find just under my front headlights on both sides next to the front parking sensors these things popped out. This is my 1st post so hopefully i've uploaded a pic correctly. I tried to push them in but they won't move. Anyone know what they are and also how can i make them go back in again. They seem to have wiring attached to them. My car is an 2011 2.0.

They will be headlight washer jets and it's safe to say the liquid in the system has frozen, expanded and pushed them out (they push out via water pressure and return via a spring).

A bit of sun will sort it

Can you push them in by hand once it warms up or is there another way to make them go in?

Just checked and they have gone in on there own.

At least i know what they're are now and if it happens again what to do.

Hi,

I'd recommend topping up your screen wash with some concentrate to reduce the temperature at which it freezes. Cracked plastic parts in the screen wash system from the expanded ice could be a pain to get fixed.
