James' B8 A4

Oh yeah the parking sensors are sprayed white so I'll have to paint them this weekend

I know it's crazy. Honestly I prefer white and black but the all black does look nice imo. Next white car I buy will be painted white from factory though if I get White again :tearsofjoy:

They are the 2 best colours imo James. Thing is if it doesn't feel right you could always re-wrap it. But I think the all black is very nice.

Yeah I think so too. Yeah exactly. I won't be buying a wrapped car again though. I'd happily wrap one after I've bought it but it's too risky buying one pre-wrapped. Keeping my eye out for a b8.5 in white and black edition now but auto and Quattro with a faster engine.

Haha no I had a piece of wrap off the boot by the number plate to see how the paint was so was driving round like that for a while before it was all removed

Can't remember off the top of my head but I bought them from a German seller on eBay and I know a few others who used the same seller. Arrived really quick and were a decent price. I'll try find the link. Think they were £120ish
 
Got a lot of the wrap glue off but still got a long way to go. Best things for it are petrol and auto finesse oblitarate (which I tried today) and a lot of hard work. Car is going to need a full paint correction detail as it's plastered in swirls from the previous owner under the wrap.
 
@James.B8 can't see the pictures dude....

Looking forward to seeing the new/original look.

Thanks @Nilz @feva I think pretty much everyone I have spoken to says they prefer the black over the wrap.

All the glue is off now thank god.

Really annoyed at the guy for not getting it off to be honest. That's what I paid him for and he had the car all day and was finished by the morning. Wish I got money back.

Anyway here are some more pics I took after giving the car a good wash...

Mine is dire need of a clean! Need to get a new snowfoam lance, broke mine talking it apart trying to clean it...

I'm still using my karcher one and does the job okay. Got a autobrite snowfoam lance now which is brilliant with it
 
Did you have the wing mirrors and the silver trim at the bottom of the bumper wrapped? Would love to have all my chrome/silver bits wrapping black as well.

@fearLesss No the mirrors were black from factory but the front splitter was sprayed black by the owner before me as well as the rear valance and window surrounds and I sprayed all the remaining chrome myself. Go for it would look good! Or carbon fibre mirror caps as you have an S4? Might look better?

Possibly, I'd have to do it right as fake carbon fibre can you look really bad

Crazy to see this thread, I’ve owned this car for a year & a half now haha! Thanks for all the work you done on it bossman it’s a real pleaure to drive still!
