Spotify Streaming Options - 2012 8P A3

Hi

New to forum , before i rip out the standard headunit and go after market i just want to check there is no way i can get spotify streaming out of my current setup.

Give you and idea

• 2012 8P
• Bose Upgrade
• Symphony Head Unit
• Have old Apple dock (pre lighting connector) in glovebox (not tested or used as all phones are newer)
• Phone prep in arm reset (not used, looks like is missing a dock part anyway)
• Factory Call Bluetooth - Connects and works fine with my iPhone 7

My end result is i want to stream Spotify to the standard stereo , if this can be done that's all i need.

If i do need to change i would like to be able to keep the stock handsfree/bluetooth, but is this tied to the Headunit ?

Sorry if this is in wrong section or already has been covered , i believe i know the answer and i need to go aftermarket (was thinking of double din car play unit) but as i said i want to keep the hands free function and utilize the OEM MIC and for it to interact with the trip computer display.

Thanks , but unfortunately i don't have the AMI port :-(
