Don't smoke whilst you are doing it. And disconnect the battery just in case.

we supply and fit that same pump in both fwd version and its 4wd version. decent flowing unit, does what they say..
Occasional failures but not "sytec bad" and lifetime warranty offered so replacements not a problem.

In your opinion/experience, does one of these in tanks pumps make an inline DA-31 unnecessary given the quoted flow? or would having both be a good failsafe?

on hybrids its ok on its own, for BT stuff I still use DA-31 in lines as well

I bench flow tested it at 3/4/5bar and it does lockout where they say it does. It did just a smidge more than they say.

Was just about to pull the trigger on a sytec p3031.1 pump to refresh the old original pump in my project agu. Are they not reliable Bill?

they say it works from 3 to 6 bar (set by fpr) well i didnt try on 6 but i do know it works on 4 and 5 bar fpr
Fuel pressure at the rail will be FPR rating plus boost remember... just in case others read this as otherwise... 3bar FPR + 1bar boost will result in 4bar fuel pressure

I've got this one in my car.

The first one I got failed on me. Got sent out a replacement and this one has been good since.

Thanks for the heads up, will look at the other one listed above or just a standard Bosch replacement.
