Hello Guys

Looking to remove the A pillars, is there a DIY somewhere?

Thanks
JC

I'll assume you mean the interior trim from them?

If so, believe they pull off simply (be wary of airbag when poking any tools there)

I couldn't do it in the end even after pulling so hard (felt like something was going to break) when doing my dashcam. Didn't need to in the end, just routed the cable down the side by moving it enough to get the cable in

Yes sorry I mean the A-Pillar trim cover... is there a diagram or instructions I can follow? I need to be sure what am I doing.... Thanks!

There's a screw inside the airbag label tab, you need to unscrew it first then pull the trim outwards at the top and then pull the whole trim upwards.

On my PFL 8V, when having the windscreen changed, it was easier to take off the dash end panel first, then remove the A-Pillar trim.

This is the lower trim which, as @Neil C says, should be removed first to make it easier

Well now I feel stupid! :D No wonder it was so tough to remove if there was a screw in it still LOL

I'm sure I read here someone said it just pulls off, or maybe I just assumed it would be like that as my old car was

Doh!

@mikemod would you mind sharing details on where you're getting those diagrams please? (if you can)

Elsawin, bought of Ebay, can also be downloaded if you can find a link, 70GB+ though.
