Is it me or are the spokes going in the wrong direction?

The 'Quattro' lettering on them looks really smart, I like that.

Not my cup of tea, the flatened out axe/pick head looks weird......but that is just my opinion

Personally I'm not fussed on them but when ordering my black edition, I might go with them anyway and swap them for a set of 8V RS3 rotors in gloss black

They'll be the right direction on the other side of the car

+1
Quattro detail is good but not concave enough for me and design a bit too severe / linear

Hmmm... it does seem to be a bit of a design thing Audi are doing at the moment... non-symmetrical wheel spokes, so only one side of the car has them going in the right direction. 20" wheels on the TTRS the same.

Good point above about axe/pick head!

Been like that for years. The trusty Rotors they ended putting on every Audi out there were the same. They don't make differing ones for left and right. Only symmetrical designs are same whatever side they're on

Not keen on the BE wheels but I don't like the standard S3 twin spokes either.

That's the reason I didnt spec the S3 BE after a lot of thought

Hmmmm...thought I didn't mind them in the metal...but nah don't like those....

Justifying £1000 for magride to get decent set of alloys is pure cheek...

Do you need magride to fit 19" alloys?

I don't doubt it mate, but it's still close to a grand!

If you care for how the car feels when cornering, then mag ride is worth every penny.
From someone who has had an S3 with and without.

Alternatively order a saloon and feel like it costs nothing (if it's still part of the base Saloon package).

Minor improvement on rotors.
However, I can't help but think that the black edition wheels should really be more black in colour, which would probably make them a better looking option and fit with the black styling.
If I was getting a black edition and not speccing 19" wheels, I'd be getting these refurbed in matt black or anthracite ASAP.

I really like those. Maybe in the minority but, hey who cares. It's all personal taste!!

Yer not alone mate...jassy likes them as well, standard S3 18" aint exactly stunners....and anyone that buys a S3 without magride....is in for a unsettling compromise...
