yourAudi - Track New Car Order

Sounds good being able to collect. Mine is Slough audi and have an office in Slough I can work from, so definitely will go down that route if it gets me the car quicker :)

Also going to tell them not to clean it! Rather do that myself and give it a quick protection detail for the winter

Lease company just emailed me to advise that he car is awaiting transport to the port and the dealer is now advising possible delivery early to mid January. They said it could be earlier and they'll keep me informed.

I've challenged them on it in hope that they push the dealer meanwhile in the background I'll be tracking and possibly phoning the dealer myself. I've also asked how the car will be delivered as never thought it could be driven up and assumed it would be on a transporter.

Sorry boaby I have probably asked this already, are you also with select car leasing mate?

They told me mid Jan a couple of weeks ago, now it has sped up tremendously I will certainly push the dealer to get it before, as long as the your audi info is correct lol

So going by that Gran Canaria goes back and forth between Emden and sheerness almost every 2 days. So here's hoping there isn't too much of a queue in front of me to get shipped over.

You may be correct but don't assume. Some of the ships suddenly head off up to Scandinavia and the Baltic countries for days at a time. Best checking you're "local" port website to see what ships are expected from Emden (there are some other ports which the cars can leave from occasionally just to complicate things but mostly Emden).

Total Fleet Ltd (Lease-hire) is who i'm with.

Hi all, after an extremely dissapointing call with my dealer i've popped on here for some moral support.

Yesterday, my car showed as being in quality control. I received a call from the dealer saying it was due to be built this week. I told him it was actually built last week as i have been tracking it on my audi. He double checked his system and basically told me the car had not even started production yet, if it had he would know? Very odd.

This morning on myaudi my car is out of the factory and on its way to the port - I really want to be excited, but dont know whether to trust my dealer of myaudi? Surely myaudi isnt tracking a ghost? Has anyone had a similar experiece? I want my shiny new a6 black edition!

Heres my JSON info;

"orderStatus":"30","statusDate":"2016-12-06T01:07:08+0000"
"orderStatus":"24","statusDate":"2016-12-05T00:00:00+0000"
"orderStatus":"23","statusDate":"2016-12-03T00:00:00+0000"
"orderStatus":"22","statusDate":"2016-12-02T00:00:00+0000"
"orderStatus":"21","statusDate":"2016-12-01T00:00:00+0000"
"orderStatus":"20","statusDate":"2016-11-24T01:07:08+0000"
"orderStatus":"10","statusDate":"2016-11-04T01:06:32+0000"

Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

AL

Order status 21 through 24 are generated to provide some interest for us the customer, it appears they are probably not real.

Order status 30 it's left the factory and heading to the port. System updates once per day. So tomorrow/ Thursday should be at the port (38) or better still might go straight onto a boat (39).

As others have suggested Audi CS are a good source of information so worth checking with them if you are worried.

Dealer will soon tell you which port it's going to. I know Northampton go to Grimsby. And Scottish ones go into Tyne. All southern dealers should be sheerness but I don't know where the geographic cut off is north/ midlands/ south.

Yes definitely won't take it for granted that's for sure, it is guess work at this stage, hopefully once it is status 39 I'll be able to work out which one of a couple of ships it might be on

African highway is due at sheerness tomorrow according to marine tracker.

The schedule from earlier in the week link above showed it there today but not unusual for ships to be delayed.

African highway was showing on marine tracker as docked at emden this morning. So I guess it is ahead or behind schedule a bit

Seems to be behind schedule, also I can only see African highway going to Grimsby within the next week with no other schedule to Sheerness. I'm going to check it daily though as it seems live tracking is more accurate than scheduled tracking.

It's on its way to sheerness now, just above Holland with an eta of 11am tomorrow. According to marine traffic website that is. Not that it matters as our cars aren't on it, just hope we get on the next one :) lol

Mines status 38 at the top of the status list now, so that is released for shipping, so I guess it is now on the queue to get on a boat?

True true. I am sure it will mate, I am sure it will fly through as well!

like I said a week ago if I can get it in the UK by the new year that'll be great and by the looks of it from 6 days from start of build to being at the port is looking good!

No change on mine yet. :(
Yeh just looking at mine the very top bit says 38, so I don't think it is at 38 yet? I think it is at the port waiting clearance for shipping! Does yours say 38 at the top?

30 on both bits still, weirdly my status 30 says 4th Dec rather than the 6th when it changed to that. Seems to be a bit off so still confident it's there and will be on the same boat as you.

Ahhh OK cool, mine says 38 then 30, I am sure they are a bit out, it will definitely be there and hopefully we'll be on the same boat bud, can't see why not :)

Looks like Gran Canaria Car is at Emden, it has been going between Emden and Sheerness on it's last few journeys, not sure where its next destination is, but hopefully our cars will be on it and it will go to Sheerness fingers crossed!

I've been moved from build week 2 to build week 6 :(

I wouldn't worry too much, my original build date on youraudi was w/c 28 November which audi confirmed by email, then changed to 12 December which the sales guy confirmed separately and then came back to 5 December - it actually ended up being built at the same time as Boaby and Pederson last week so the w/c 28 November

Appears to be a bit of a dark art!

I'm up north so more likely to be Grimsby for me I think, plus I'm still at status 30 on both lines - fingers crossed it's soon!

Only downside for me is I tore my hamstring at the weekend so no driving for 2 weeks so hoping the timing fits well that I get to drive it home and not the mrs! Haha

Cars been at the dealers since Monday, Just spoke to them and they still don't have a pick up date, as for the last 3 days the two people who deal with fleet cars are on a conference. Seems abit odd to me that no one else can find out :(. Getting very impatient now!!
