yourAudi - Track New Car Order

I've ordered Audi Connect too (part of the Tech package, or whatever they called it). I've not had any SIM details either!

No email here though I'm through a Lease company and didn't order the tech pack so might not get it.

Good news is I'm at Status 30 now so it's left the factory :yahoo:

Now to start tracking ships lol

Yes boaby mine has gone to status 30 too!! We should be at emden by the end of the day! :)

What ships do we need to track? I see African highway mentioned a lot?

Not sure what that sim thing is all about then, can't be car related maybe a phishing mail or just a mess up!

Also I didn't order the tech pack and am also through a lease company, all very strange! Someone tried to spend 85 quid on my other current account at just eat last night lol

Status 70 :). Does that mean its ready to be collected, or its at the dealer getting prepped?
 
you guys have done really well! from the start of the build and potentially to the port in 5 days is really impressive! hope mine follows suit!

It has flown the last few steps, hoping there are no hold ups at the port now and getting from port to dealer in the UK

Fingers crossed yours will follow suit come Thursday Billy!! :)

Guys what Ships are we looking out for? So far I have the following list of ship possibilities;
African Highway
Neckar Highway
Viking Constanza

Are these correct?

Yeh it is surprising to say the least, just hope it doesn't slow up now. Looks like African highway is moored at Emden too! hopefully loading our cars, could we be that lucky? I am not so sure, but as always fingers crossed :)
 
knowing how its gone so far I wouldn't write it off! straight off of the train and rolled onto the boat! I suppose it depends how many cars are sat there already waiting.
 
audi upgrades
Hi all, after an extremely dissapointing call with my dealer i've popped on here for some moral support.

Yesterday, my car showed as being in quality control. I received a call from the dealer saying it was due to be built this week. I told him it was actually built last week as i have been tracking it on my audi. He double checked his system and basically told me the car had not even started production yet, if it had he would know? Very odd.

This morning on myaudi my car is out of the factory and on its way to the port - I really want to be excited, but dont know whether to trust my dealer of myaudi? Surely myaudi isnt tracking a ghost? Has anyone had a similar experiece? I want my shiny new a6 black edition!

If you know what port your car is arriving at it makes it easier.
Mine was Port of Tyne so I first looked at what shipped were scheduled from Emden (only 2 or 3 a week max).
Then i used Vessel Finder site to track the relevant ship on the dates shown.
The ships called City of ........... (Paris or Barcelona or ........) were what mine arrived on.
Warning........ it becomes adictive !!

Cool thanks bud; mine was ordered from Slough Audi, so I would have to presume being down south it would be sheerness. I will have a look and see what ships go to sheerness, African highway is docked at Emden now, but I think that goes to Grimsby, not sure if it swings past sheerness on the way! :)

Also City if Barcelona - At Emden
Gran Canaria Car - At Emden
Weser Highway - currently at Grimsby expected Emden tomorrow.

On my phone so not easy to use the tracking websites so will look into schedules when I get home later.

We should have ours come into Grimsby so I'm going to be looking at arrivals for there.

Just seen your post and sheerness makes more sense but will keep an ey on Grimsby as well lol

So going by that Gran Canaria goes back and forth between Emden and sheerness almost every 2 days. So here's hoping there isn't too much of a queue in front of me to get shipped over.

Oh really ours will go into Grimsby? I thought they'd go into sheerness being down south n all that?

Anyone know where the cars go into based on dealership?
 
I edited my post, lack of geography meant I didn't consider Sheerness. Makes more sense but worth keeping an eye on both of them.

Yes definitely keep and eye on both, the sheerness one looks a really regular back and forth route, so if it is going to sheerness it will just depend how many cars are in front of ours. :)
 
not being funny, even if your cars are sat at the port for 2 weeks (which I very much doubt) you will be driving them before the new year!

Hopefully not, its been at the dealers since yesterday, but they said it could take upto 10 days when i spoke to them earlier. :(
 
That's far too long imo, get back on the phone to them and tell them that is unacceptable and they need to get their butts in gear! lol

Call Audi customer service, they were very helpful and confirmed for me that car was in U.K. And transport order had been requested.

Ive just spoke to select, and you can pick up if you want, im only 20 mins away from the dealer they ordered the car with. So im picking it up. (Hopefully) this week.

All this tracking ships etc you'll be wanting to know which website shows the dock webcam to watch ferry being berthed and cars offloaded next! Lol

okay brilliant cheers Sam! unfortunately mines been ordered through the Sheffield Audi and I live South-East London so no chance of me collecting mine! Its a shame because there's a Audi main dealer a 10 min drive from where I am

are you having your delivered on a transporter to your place or is it going to be driven up? I don't like the idea of the car being driven from the dealers to my place to be honest!

Thinks it's a driven delivery, wasn't going to pay more for a transporter don't think it would be cheap.
If a discount was offered I'd be up for flying to Heathrow then driving it back, but can't see than being an option.

depending on the costs i'm thinking of a transporter, its only 184 miles though...
 
Went in to sign papers today. Car being delivered on Friday to dealer. PDI same day, clean done first thing Saturday, collection at 9.30am! So. Damn. Excited.
