I took delivery of this beauty as a replacement for my 8P S3.
2014 model. A worthy successor indeed.

S3 does look good in silver and pretty rare

I moved away from silver cars about 6 years ago as they were so common but are more of rarity these days...I predict floret silver (or similar) could be the next Sepang as are far to many blue cars on the roads now

I was the same .... would never consider silver as like you say they were mega common at one point so the colour never even featured on my considered list.

Right now today I feel that although you still see a few silver cars about, white is by far the new silver and there are loads of em.

Floret silver however caught my eye once I saw it first hand and appreciate how dark it is, much darker than the outgoing audi ice silver.

The other thing which I thinks helps to accentuate the looks of the floret silver is the inclusion of black packs / privacy glass / dark alloys etc and the contrast looks fantastic.

Audi are masters with regards to colour mixing and have produced some of the best on the market including sepang blue as you note, I would most certainly add floret silver to that list.

Oh yeah...didn't realise silver is so rare now, thinking about it. Especially a nice metallic silver. In the popular days - the silvers were solid or generally dull.

Today's silvers are stunning. Great choice!

Love it! I have a Sepang...and I do love the colour but It means I have to clean it myself...spent a fortune on cleaning kit! You can get away with car wash places if you have silver!

I promised myself I would leave well alone for at least a few months. Didn't last long. Decided to lower her. Spoke to the workshop manager and Eibach is approved so no worries there.

Extreme motorsport in Northgate is my dealer of choice, he has lowered all my previous cars. Ordered the kit and today it arrived. I warn you in advance I like taking photo's.
Overall impressions...feels like stock setup. Not overely bouncy and bumps are well absorbed. Handling feels tighter and steering has more feedback. But its early days. WIll post side on shots once I have driven her some more and its settled in. At the moment it seems like a 20mm drop front and back.

Had some time to fiddle and fitted my GPS, used a TOM TOM car mount with adapters for various TOM TOM gps's. THis way its close to power and out of prying eyes way

Usman786 Not in South Africa, its an optional extra and I got the car without it.

Thanks for all the links and pictures. Did you take the plastic sleeve out of the front springs (or am I being misled by the lighting of that front spring comparison picture)? I thought they were supposed to stay on?

That looks awesome, why do you have to go and pot pictures of a lowered car

I don't like extremely low cars, but filling the arches is a must. My 19's already do a pretty good job of that, but there is always room for improvement....
