B***ards!
The TQS i am looking at has a tow bar fitted, is this likely to cause any problems if it has been used as a tow car?
Apparently it doesnt have twin electric, so probally hasnt been pulling a caravan. Could this put extra wear/strain on the diff/drivetrain?
Also, how hard are the tow bars to remove?
HA HA!
I had a tow bar fitted to mine and have pulled all sorts of stuff.
Why would it cause problems?
only if they are burning the clutch out or it has been fitted badly, might put a bit of wear on the brakes but no more than you average TWOC'er ragging it round Sainsbury's car park!
don't put much stock in service history on 15 year old cars.
You are more likely to get one cared for by someone who does a lot of their own work
mine doesnt have a service history since i bought it but I can guarantee it has been cared for with more filters changes, plugs scans and upgrades than any audi specialist will have done on a 10k cycle
be more interested in the necessary replacements like bushes, arms, brake lines etc
I pay £450 Ins, get 20-30 mpg depending on my mood, it works in rain, shine snow and ice. can fill it with boxes or kids and attack B roads or tootle down the motorway.
cant think of another 4wd car that gives all that without looking like a chav
