Get them on mate - really pleased with mine.
Waiting for warmer weather and daylight - maybe Sunday? They look amazing!
Got a mate trying to carbon coat my tailpipes as well.

Didn't you have this done already? Didn't work out?

Or am I mixing you up with someone else who sent them off to a company who did them?

Kind of, had mine hydrodipped but my mate does actual carbon fibre work and wants to have a go!

Your URLs have gone a bit messed up

Couldn't post the photos!
Because of the size issue? If so, if you're a facebook user, easy fix is to facebook message them to yourself as it compresses them :)

Carbon tailpipes coming and might buy some other carbon exterior bits. Don't want to go too crazy...

Where did you get the carbon interior trim from? Fancy that for mine when it comes.

This your own work batch?
I'm assuming you have put a carbon fibre sleeve over the existing tip?? :friends:
Not mine mate - my friend Paul. And yes they are the original trims that have been skinned.

Do they stick over the existing trim or replace it? How damaging to the wallet? :grimacing:

Does anyone have a video of a DSG S3 or Golf 7R with JUST an aftermarket DP into OE exhaust system?

Right, last Monday I had my Milltek Sportcat DP and GFB DV+, courtesy of @73pop fitted by my local VAG specialist MD AUTOBAHN. Anybody in the East Surrey/West Sussex area needing work done give Martin a bell. Superb service, he's just started out on his own after a career as a VW Master Tech and was very helpful and flexible.

I had to buy a new connector pipe to join to the OEM system, so this beast turned up - having never dealt with aftermarket exhausts on a turbo car before I was amazed at the size of the pipe!

Quick comparison pic, OE downpipe/cat/link section on the RIGHT, note the awful restrictive bend at the turbo outlet end:

Everything all fitted up perfectly, and ready to roll!

Managed to get out this morning with @sjbarneS3 for a good blast to check it all out, car feels much more eager, responsive and quicker and livelier from lower revs. Also an improved, throatier sound and louder farts on upshift but nothing too intrusive or chavvy sounding. After that, Mrs B drove the 30-miles or so to her parents (sedately!) and on the return journey got the dreaded CEL light come up! I'm popping out for a test drive shortly but can only assume it's due to the new exhaust as she says it's driving fine. So fingers crossed it's just that! If anyone has any definitive ideas to back me up feel free to drop them on here, unless I come back to say I've had to be recovered from the side of the road in an oily, smoky ball of fire!

I'd look at what has changed to cause the CEL... I think your sport cat is throwing lambda readings off which is causing the light. You need to scan the ECU with vcds to know for sure. If it is the sport cat that's the problem, you may need the ECU map adjusted.

Get it scanned to find out the exact reason for your CEL.

Hi Alex, hope you're well mate. I've got the MTM Cantronic box which can be reflashed but to be honest I think I'll be going for an O2 sensor spacer - either CTS, 42DD or even an eBay special?

Hi mate, yeah all good here. The TTE420 is treating me well!

If you go for spacer, you'll need to get the sensor disabled in the ECU otherwise that CEL will never go out
