Hi folks,

Take a look at these! Quality looks great, and for being machined from aluminium the price seems spot on too

I always use my paddle shifters and it does irritate me cause of how short they are (that's PFL) had a look and couldn't see how they attach any one know or am I just blind

A bit much? Seems a lot much to me!

I don't like the idea of sticking them to the existing paddles though - or do they clip on and over the existing paddles?

Have you got a link for those? I couldn't find any that style and had to settle for cheap looking ones

I would've got those $125 ones but with me changing my car soon I didn't think it was worth it

Just had a look in my eBay purchase history and the link is no longer valid as I bought them back in 2014, price was £17.99. They are made by Relak. From a fast eBay search it looks like the price has gone up a little, to £30ish.

It's always good to have more choice, but don't mind the standard ones personally!

Daily driving they work great, but on the track, wish they were a little longer to upshift in corners.

I don't worry about up-shifting on track - does it by itself at the redline

Definitely faster pre red line.

So with me being a machinist, I decided to take my current paddle extensions apart and have a go at designing my own

Are you making cad drawings of this? I could 3D print them out.

Yeah mate I'll probably use Solidworks for it. I'll be manually machining them though myself. The paddles in the picture are my original extensions, I haven't started my own design just yet

If you're willing to share the drawings, I can see about printing and mail them. Looks like we both are looking for a similar design... And you basically did the hard part already
