Apologies I'm still learning the Audi models having just purchased my first VAG. My mother though has an old TT as a run around its the quattro version with 225bhp. If you accelerate hard in it the ABS light comes on and stays on until you switch the engine off and on again. It does not come on again until you give it some beans. What would cause this
Thanks

Hi,
You should consider posting some of your questions in the A3/S3 8L forums, as the BAM engine and AMK slightly lower powered is in the S3's. You should scan for codes using VCDS Lite unless you have the full version, it is maybe a latitudinal or longditudinal sensor under the steering wheel or behind the glove box, although 2 lights came on mine when that happened but maybe because I have ESP too.

mine used to come on over 50MPH if accelerating hard, if you do scan you might need to try and scan with the light still on, as you know they disappear after turning off and on. Also on mine the traction control was disabled when the lights came on. my faulty sensor was behind the glove box and about £45 to buy.

good luck
