I'm getting a ton of respect for my s3. hardened bmw fans, people on the street even the guys at the local Polish car wash were complimenting me on it. Audi really have done a winner with this year's model :)
 
Lol by car wash I mean 8 eastern Europeans washing it by hand :)
 
Ah but you're owners. I'm leasing so my attachment to the car isn't as strong as yours ;)

Mine is going to be leased, but won't be going near a hand car wash when it arrives.

You will start a riot on here admitting you go to any sort of car wash. Avoid!

Just remember when leasing a car you have to hand the car back in a "certain" condition that's deemed acceptable to the leasing company. Therefore, I'd stay well clear of the scratch and swirl inflicting "hand" car washes or you could find yourself with a nasty repair bill in a couple of years time.

And.............is your camera broken???

Omg, lease car or not why would anyone use these car destroyers, and as for new s3 you must be barking mad or just plain stupid.

Yeah now I know why to avoid them. that will be the first and laat time I go there :)

Am I in the minority in thinking the facelift doesn't look as good?

Nah mate it looks a good bit better, it's just certain members on here make it look.... as if it's the second coming of Christ..... Euphoria.....

I think the detailing is all a little fussy and prefer the understatedness of the outgoing one.

Facelifts are hardly ever successful in my opinion. Look at what Fiat did with the Grand Punto or Vauxhall adding all that nasty chrome to the Insignia or BMW with the 1 series, they improved the front and mucked up the other end.

I think in order to keep all the body panels the same, the only things they could change were the bumpers and lights... on the outside. The interior sees a few nicer touches, in my opinion.

I guess you might say it's evolution, rather than revolution. :)

No second coming of Christ, just a facelift. As we age, we sometimes need a bit of Viagra to focus our attention, to the subject in view.

Ah Viagra, that's obviously why Audi made the steering wheel thinner and smaller so we have more room down there ......

As for the interior it's still the exact same...Unless you add that awesomely expensive interior design package with the red stitched supersport seats... That's stunning, my favourite option may l add, as for the technology package and Virtual cockpit, if l do order a S3 saloon those items won't be on it, the rear tail lights are stunning, the front ain't it's strong point but the larger front grille is really nice, it gets a strong 8/10 again colour and body style dependant

I'd say it's a grower, although I find that smiley bumper off putting... not that you can see it from the drivers seat lol! :puke2:

If we all liked the same thing it would be a boring world anyhow.
