How big can i go???

Just bought a 54 plate A4 Cab and im looking to get some new rims, have been told diffrent things about how big you can go ect:uhm: , i really wanted 20" but most people say dont go any bigger than 19" Can any of you guys help???? got any pics?? cheers.
 
Drove a new A6 with 20'' Kahns and it drove like CRAP! Tram lined like hell. stick to 19's there all you need to look pimp :)

Normally 2 inches bigger than your original wheel size is ok.
 
Had a few people say that 20's make the car drive like ****, looks like i will have to go for some 19's, prob go for some rep wheels new rs4 or pos some BBS???
 
it depends if you are likely to have 4 people and a boot full of suitcases like i did on a recent airport run. i was a bit worried about how close the rears were to the arches, didnt want a blowout on the motorway!!!!

Get some BBS's super cool wheels, keep it Euro :)
 
dont have to worry about the suit case thing as i have another car for that sort of thing plus you can only fit a handbag in the boot...:)

i really dont want to mess up the ride and end up with a car that tramlines ect..I think 19" look the way forward and BBS would look super slick just a bit pricey...:ermm:
 
I really don't get the bigger is better idea....coz it's not. :ermm:
