Facelift Post Pics Of Your Facelift A3/S3 8V In Here

Stunning car Bill, almost the same as I'm waiting on so enjoyed the pics.
That plate wouldn't be out of place in Oban (0 BAN).
Look forward to hearing how you're enjoying the car mate.

Good spot re the plate Audi Bairn - I do indeed live in Oban.
I've got three trips to Glasgow in the next week so that should give me a chance to get a few miles in. I reckon the S3 will be ideally suited to the great driving roads up in this area.

Big Bill. That car was my original order which I didn't collect as it was ordered incorrectly. It was meant to have the grey leather and parking plus with camera but the salesman didn't put them in the order so mine had to be reordered and I picked it up two weeks ago. Lovely car. I was looking at it when I picked mine up.

Hi BMB - 77
Thanks for rejecting this car - One mans loss is another mans gain :grinning:
Glad you got sorted with the spec you wanted and hope you are enjoying your car

Stunning part of the world Bill.
Been there often but overdue a return visit.
The drive to/from Oban is fantastic, as you say.
Enjoy the car fella

Few pics before the invasion of the ducks

Car looks superb moonlight!
Great spot for the pics too, although your house looks a bit small but at least it's got a moat with guard ducks to protect you lol
Happy motoring!

lol...I took about a dozen pictures there yesterday....during the last few they had surrounded me....escaped with my life...and my sarnie....having owned Floret for nearly a week I see it under many lighting conditions and it re-acts differently albeit in a fairly subtle manner..almost has a violet hue to it...

I do like that, looks so different in shadow and direct light :sunglasses:

There's definitely more to Floret than meets the eye...was actually on the way to view a potential new house and took the opportunity whilst the sun was shining.....the colour is very forgiving.....yet to be cleaned in almost a week and still looking good

Think of it like this... You're in a restaurant and the waiter asks how you want your steak done. The options are rare, medium or well done. It's the same for blue Audi paint... light, medium or dark. Ok!? ;) :p

I have a Navarra Blue S3 on order, reading through the forums there doesnt seem to be a lot of love out there for the colour, I hope its nice :crying:

I nearly went for Daytona but my previous cars have been Grey or black and fancied a change. I havnt really looked in to the idea properly but I see a lot of posts on Instagram about Paint Protection Film, not really sure of the pro's/con's and cost but with a vulnerable colour it might be a good investment to keep the car looking on point.

Any experience/advice would be appreciated.

Love the discussion and pics on this forum, kills many hours day dreaming about my new car

Cheers

There's plenty of us who've ordered Navarra Frazer and I for one don't regret it at all. Not taken delivery yet but the pics on here are stunning.
Everyone's different in their tastes so each to their own.

Completely agree, Team Navarra all the way... Pics do look great, especially when the light hits.

Hopefully I will take delivery before Christmas, dealership are very non committal about delivery date. The wait is killing me.

Take no notice of us mate just ribbing each other to pass the time! lol

Navarra is a cracking colour but likely a lot more hands on to keep it that way. .....certainly compared to Daytona anyway :)

Seriously cant wait, would have been collecting this week if they hadn't have ordered the wrong colour, had to cancel and re-order setting it back a month or so :fearscream:.

I have only test drove the pre FL S3 which impressed me, from what I read the FL sounds and drives better, is that your experience as well?

I also think privacy glass works well with floret. I have it on my A4. I've also noticed the effects of different light conditions on the colour.

for me is a too much standard color for an S3.

but for who prefer an elegant car i think is very nice.

Hi all, new to the forum.

I had a test drive at Dundee Audi on Wednesday and picked this up on Saturday. Not had a chance to try it out much yet apart from the drive home but I thought I would post a few pictures

Confused by this one - Daytona Grey FL Sportback with Black Optics - yet does not have body colored mirrors like other Black Optics - they are stainless steel color:

My brother looked in to it when he had a Golf R on order, not cheap by any means -

Standard kit: Bumper, part bonnet (wrapped edges), part wings (inner edges wrapped) wing mirrors: £675.00 + vat

Full Front kit: Bumper, full bonnet (wrapped edges), full wings (inner edges wrapped), wing mirrors: £1300.00 + vat

Complete kit: every external painted panel on the car protected: £3900.00 + vat

Exterior sill pack: £375.00 + vat

He actually ended up cancelling that order and got a TTS instead.

I've got a Daytona S3 saloon on order for delivery in the next 5-10 days (hopefully). I've added the pano roof, red calipers, privacy glass, super sport seats and advanced tech pack.

At the time of order the black optics wasn't available so I left it off. I'm now thinking I like the chrome grille and colours mirror caps, but not the window trims.

What are people's thoughts on wrapping just the window trims but leaving the rest? And maybe de-chroming the rear?

Nano or Nardo?!

Daytona is a pearl paint and blows all of the battleship greys clean out of the water (IMO)..my previous was Daytona and really wanted it again on this car but forced myself to change...
