How much discount should I be looking to achieve on a facelift on S-tronic sportback?

My build comes to £37,280. What should I am for the PCP figure to be including dealer contributions?

I was getting bout 10% on carwow for a Hatchback S3, although the deposit contribution is currently £2300 on the Hatchback, and just £800 on the Sportback....

I think in this quarter the finance contribution has changed as well as the PCP APR rate... it all pretty much balances out to the previous quarter tho.

I also noticed the excess mileage charge has gone from 6p/mile +vat to 9p/mile +vat..

Go for a 3 door. Cheaper and a better looking car :tonguewink:

I got 11% discount on mine. The list price was £38,245 and I had well in excess of £4000 discounted.

I have had to use Black Horse finance due to VWFS not seeing my age as suiting the car. If you want to know deposit figures and monthly payments, feel free to PM me.

I'm aiming for 16% off. If not achievable, i'm going for an RS3

I love a bit of man maths to justify a stupid car purchase, but you've even lost me on this one...!?

You want the cheaper car with a really big discount, and if you don't get it, you will settle for a more expensive car with next to zero discount...??

I'd rather have an RS3 at £40k (used sportback), than an S3 at £31.5k. Simple.

If your buying on finance the rs3 will literally be twice the monthlys. It doesn't have much stronger residule than the s3

Prove it.... show me you got 16% from a Audi dealer............? RS3's hold there value far far far better, even the MK1....holds its value better than my S3....Go look on Autotrader 2012 RS3's are selling for between £26k-£29k.....

You will 110% not get that discount, Audi won't sell a car at a total loss.... the new RS3 with reasonable spec will add £10-£15k to your order.

How much discount can they offer before they get to the "break even" stage? It varies on model I guess?

You misunderstand me. I know the realistic residual is a lot higher than the s3, I was merely talking about finance company's residuals, hence me saying it will cost twice the amount per month. Finance company's only rate the residule a couple of £k more than the s3.

Also sorry my bad, I've just seen in the title sportback. I got 16% off a 3 door. Due to the 2.5k contribution
