Hi All,

New to the forum and looking for some advice.

I've recently damaged both of my front RS3 wheels, and whilst I am getting them fixed, I have began looking at some options for wheels.

My initial conversation with my local dealer, they quoted me at $2560 AUD per wheel (so around £1600). Seemed very expensive to me, so I then began thinking it may be good to look at a complete set of aftermarket wheels and then save the OEM wheels for future sale of the car.

So, I have two questions, firstly - does anyone know the price of the original RS3 8V 19 by 8.5 wheels in the UK?

Secondly - has anyone looked at other wheel options on the RS3 8V?

Thanks for your help!

Afaik the original wheels are £600 each!

Yes. £600 is more reasonable, even if it's still expensive. That's around 50% of the price that the dealerships here in Australia are quoting per wheel... Thanks for the info!

Thanks for the tips. Some ideas there... the issue might be the clearance of the front callipers. The front wheels have a big positive offset, I think this would be for clearance purposes. It's a shame, as I'd love to have a set of wheels that are concave in design, but this appears to be thwarted by the brake setup. Don't get me wrong though, the brakes are great.

Best is to keep it to "made for RS3" and it will work. No, the brakes are just good at first with both looks and seems effective but is a very c*** solution according to design and quality.

Someone on here has Audi V Spokes on their RS3.
Improves the look no end and has a more OEM feel about it.

Indeed. The V-spoke design is not to my taste though. I don't mind the existing rotor design on the rs3, but the prices are just extraordinarily expensive for replacement wheels here in Australia. I wonder whether a dealer in the UK or in the EU would ship them...

Every seller has different shipment rules so just ask them. I thought about one thing that 8p should fit with a 3mm spacer because that's what I have now as winterwheels and it works very good. If you can live with that there should be much more to choose from even maybe used?

Not a bad fall back plan. I like the slightly sharper design on the RS3 rotor wheels compared to the older more curved design. Maybe I'm too fussy about these things?

I've been looking at some aftermarket options from Vossen and O.Z. Racing but it looks like I'll lose the larger sized fronts if I go that way...

So, an old post I know but let's bring it to life. I'm tempted to get some summer wheels but I'm struggling to find suitable ones. I do know Vossen, O.Z and VMR have some options. Would love some RS5 or old TT RS rotors but thats a no go, right? Any other suggestions that I should look into that would suit the RS3? :)
