Hi all,
So today my partner was unfortunately involved in a incident in a car park where she had to take action to avoid a head on collision (car come through a gap in the spaces into a one way at speed) and she swerved to avoid a head on. In doing so, she crashed the car into a sidewall resulting in a fair amount of damage to the rear offside of my car..
Does anyone know how much this would be to repair and what my options are? Got details of the other vehicle but a car park is fairly open grounds and it's her word against theirs as no damage to the other car so it isn't an accident.. no CCTV around and no witnesses either. I don't have protected no claims either..
The rear door is dented slight as is the panel adjacent. This panel seems to run up the full side of the car and into the roof and top pillar (last picture) How is this repaired? Surely it's not a full 1/2 exterior?
As you can tell I am totally gutted by this, but glad she is okay. Honestly cannot believe it, only had the car since 3rd September. I am based in the North West Crewe/Liverpool area, does anyone have any recommendations of garages that are good for things like this? I want it looking like it did on day one, will this now be possible?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Pictures below, make me feel physically sick:
