Return with my Silver TQS

When it does it is it when driving through standing water ??

Mine did something similar when driving through standing water turned out it was cooling the miltek down causing it to banana shape and catch the diff hanger.
 
Only ever did it in rainy conditions on the motorway just after driving through standing water.

My milltek was exactly the same. First time it did it I was convinced my car was imploding.

Its been re-hung now, and modified a little and it doesn't do it anymore.

Can't think of what else it could be though, sorry.

Yeahh, it's just something I thought maybe someone else has come across, I mean I've taken the process of elimination approach to it, I.e balanced the wheels, tracked the car etc but it's still there

How does my DV valve plum in? Cause apparently, the pipe coming off the top of the ko4-064 TIP is for the crank breather??

You need to heve a 25mm port welded to the tip that you can run some 25mm id silicone hose off to your DV.

I think mark used the breather hole and routed the breather to a catch can.

If you want both, you'll need to add an extra stub to the compressor housing.
 
I've seen a forge one of that Brad with a silicone joiner with it too

Right, for anyone trying to get access to the starter, I could get to it by removing the AC pipes, they're on the compressor with a 30mm and 32mm I used my spanner to remove them but my AC was already flushed so it's was cool

Your car will of had one fitted wouldnt it ? Is it the starter to alternator loom or starter live wire from the chassis leg i cant remember which it is ??



Just post me that one if so.
 
Start to alternator loom bud, mine got damaged on removal but I think I can sort it

Hey guys, while waiting for BBT to get back to me with this damn adapter plate, I'm bouncing off the idea of my old golf mk4 headlight design;
I went for anniversary headlights simply cause they had black on the inside as opposed to chrome, but trying to find these specific lights is kinda hard, has anyone come across these before???

You have to take your lights apart and paint them, they're not a factory option.

I did my old car, and i think marks done his too.

Mine are starting to go yellow cloudy from the side, if you position yourself low you can see it, and I always preferred these type of lights, and they look like the lights on that S4 so I might order them

Aragorn, this may sound a daft question but are the projectors in the depo units removable and can you fit the Valeo ones into them?

I like the look of those black ones and I have standard xenons on my pfl S4 which I'm facelifting anyway, can I use my projectors in those depo units? If not I'll just need to buy facelift xenons and dismantle them
 
Or are the depo projectors really that bad?

Yeah lol, side by side pic reveals blacked out looks better and breaks up the car more, but that's just my preference
