My service was due last night, its at 73k KM, I have an appointment for the service 3 days from now. Question! Do I drive as usual or should I add a liter of oil just in case. Can adding a liter cause any harm if the motor doesnt need it?

Have you checked the existing oil level ? If its half or above I wouldn't be adding any fresh oil if its in for its service in 3 days - unless you have a long lourney planned between now and then. Adding oil above the max fill level is not a good idea, it can cause issues.

As above. It's 3 days. How long have you been driving with this quantity already, probably long enough for 3 days to make no difference.
