I think it is time to replace my front discs on my S4. Car has revo stage 1 so thinking of upgrading? Can anyone recommend a decent setup with an improvement over standard that does not cost the earth?

I know you've said upgrade but I went for vented brembos discs and pads

I drive hard and I can't fault them to be honest

Currently running a set of the ECS 2 piece wave rotors with EBC Yellow Stuff pads and cannot fault them. They are not cheap but offer a much better braking system in my opinion to OEM. These are the 3rd set of discs/pads that I have changed over my ownership and if buying on a budget I can recommend the following which I put on the 1st time I needed the brakes changed http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/EBC-FRONT-REAR-DISCS-AND-PADS-FOR-AUDI-S4-3-0-SUPERCHARGED-333-BHP-2008-11-/141818890018?fits=Car+Make:Audi|Cars+Type:S4+quattro&hash=item2105108722:g:sJUAAOSwAYtWOKuJ

The 2nd time I used the same EBC discs as above but changed the pads to EBC Yellows on the rear and Ferodo DS2500 on the front.

Where did you get the ECS discs from?

I got my ECS discs from Awesome GTI but looks like the price has gone up quite a bit in the last few months.
They do Tarox discs

And the ECS 2 piece discs

Think it's all imported from the USA so after Brexit the pound is week against the dollar, typical as I am off to New York next week!
