i have B6 steering wheel with Multitronic Buttons, I have bought an A3 steering wheel with flappy paddles to replace it.
On previous Audi's I have swapped them over fine but I am stuck on this one.
The steering wheel has same airbag single stage so not a problem I thought, but upon connecting it realised it has a B7 style connector to the slip ring, another snag is that my button wheel has more wires going to the connector than my flappy one
Ports 1234 for horn and airbag are ok, but the flappy only has 2 other wires white and red and button one has 4 green/orange, blue, white and red. I put the red and white from flappy where the red and white were on the button but doesn't work

I have got a new slip ring and steering control but hoped I wouldn't have to use them for what I thought was a straight swop, reason being those connectors 4e0 972 133 for the new slip ring are ****** hard to find. Has anybody found a decently priced place as all seem to be in USA and want £10 for postage
