In addition to the above, I found that the hose normally pops off the rear wiper motor. The symptom is washer fluid leaking out of one side of the rear bumper. Remove the black plastic trim by removing the two screws in the handle indent. Once the screws are removed the trim pops off. It can be a right ****** to remove though. I put some extra tight cable ties around a new piece of hose which I installed. Then, make sure the washer jet is not blocked as that sometimes causes a build up of pressure and the hose (the weaker point) can still pop off. Insert a long thin clothes pin into the jet from outside to make sure any lime scale and grit are removed. Third thing to check is the brass pipe which connects the washer jet to the hose pipe (through the wiper motor) is not damaged. Again, in mine this pipe had corroded so I had to buy from a special wiper repair kit, which is sold separately. I got it from Audi and it has its own part number. It includes new gaskets, washer jet and a new piece of brass pipe etc. make sure you put lot of lube (Vaseline/grease) around the pipe to help it resist further corrosion. It's a simple fix overall and no special tools are required. The cost was about £20-£25 iirc.
