I don't think this is advisable in any way or form.....but it does seem to clean it out reasonably well.

 
holy carbon build up batman, as if people are cleaning there inlet manifolds like this, would love to see him washing the pots lmao

well I doubt you'll find that method in any workshop manual........but then if it works ...haha, maybe not for the less than 100% confident diy mechanic.
 
I'm surprised he didn't set the garage on fire the amount of smouldering boulders it was chucking out

I guess this is kind of an extreme version of a dpf regen
 
I seen that video just after I started cleaning mine lol in the end I used a hell amountnof carb cleaner and a pressure washer with the heating turnt way up done the trick just aswell as that video.

Just need to make sure its completely dry and free of water before installing it again
