What's this button ?

Not a Audi thing mate. Trace the wiring?

I had one like this on my mk2 golf gti. It was a 'kill' switch to the petrol pump. How have you not pushed it yet just out of curiosity!?
 
Def not a standard button. Drop the lower dash trim and follow the wires.
 
Does the light flash?

Its very similar to an OBDII disable switch.
 
Is it not one of these..

I reckon its some sort of kill switch.

Very interested to know what though..
 
Funnily enough yes i have, did it today, It's an on & off switch for parking sensors only with it on it picks obstructions all round for around ten feet, It's staying off.

Odd......I wonder why it was not wired into the reverse light power wire in the boot
