My dad was so taken by our a3 (and Daytona) when he drove it last month that he went out and bought a new fully loaded a6 black edition... made for a very pretty driveway today. Now I wish I also had an auto instead of manual Audi.

Are the S3 FL S Sport seats now red stitch? Or is there an added option in Europe to get the red. I'm in the USA and think we only get std seats or with magma color leather or S Sport w/white stitch.

It will cost you £895.00 for the Audi Design Selection in Fine Nappa leather with S embossed logo to get the red stitching on top of the £650.00 Front Super Sport seats with S embossed logo. So in total £1545 :concern:

Pretty good deal for just adding the S Sport seats w/ white stitch: about $850usd vs USA price of $1500usd. I won't buy an S3 without these though, they look amazing and seem to have better high shoulder support. After using Audi UK configurator we cannot complain, identical car optioned like I want in USA is $47,800usd vs $55,000usd (converted)for the UK.

I agree with you about the super sports seats that they look amazing and have better high shoulder support, and that is why I have paid the £650 for them on my soon to arrive S3 saloon(sedan), but I have gone for standard fine nappa leather with the rock grey stictching.. Even though I think the red stitching looks awesome, especially if it was coupled with the tango red that I have chosen for my new car, I could not justify the £895.00 for that. Plus the fact that they put red rings around the air vents with the red selection put me off.

Picked up mine yesterday. Have to say I'm impressed with the 1.0 TFSI engine.

Not sure I would buy a 4 seater convertible, but owned a few roadsters in the past, and really enjoy the "open top" experience. Still very tempted to get the new MX-5 as a weekend/fun car.

I wouldn't mind an S3 convertible...Just for the noise experience...
Surely they will be bringing out an RS3 convertible? Now that will be something...:hubbahubba:

I'm not won over with the RF version... yet! I think it's the fact that it's not a "fully" open experience and you only have the area above your head that's exposed.

Well done she is gorgeous and the same spec as the one I ordered so now I know how lovely she will look when she is delivered thanks! :)
Thanks. Any picture you see will never do It justice, until you walk in the show room and whip the cover off! Over the moon with it.

So I have had my car for 3 days and it's already has a pretty nasty scratch on the rear door handle (driver side) :(

seriously annoyed as I have no idea how or when it happened. :sob:

If it's just one the door handle it could be polished out quite easily, try some autoglym renovating polish apply lightly then apply again then try some super resin polish after that, then a little wax.... Or even better if you get your hands on a DA polisher...?

Welcome FS!
You guys certainly have a longer wait to endure than some of us but it'll be worth it.
Have you emigrated to BC or are you a Canuck?
I know your city fairly well. Been there 7 times in the last 9 years, mainly on the way up to Whistler for the skiing.
Gods country!

You got a S3 on order buddy ?

I enjoyed my S5 too ... superb car :sunglasses:

Hey mate.
Good to see another familiar name from A5OC.
Yeah, love the S5 but it's approaching 3 years old and time for a change.
Going for the S3 Saloon this time.
It's due in November.

I think we couldn't go without a convertible now. They're so much fun. We've gone from a z4 to an a3 convertible. The z4 was great but it's great having four seats. My nephews and nieces love going out in it.

Looking good, not found many white FL pics yet. I've gone for cheapskate Ibis. Nice write up too on the other post. Have fun!
