2.0T S Line Special Edition 2006, is it worth me doing these modifications?

Hi newbie here! Nice car!!! Are they just exhaust tips or complete system?

They are just tips but they are good ones, not just little bits stuck on the ends of the outlet pipe, they pretty well butt upto the silencer box , well allowing for a small section for joint.

I think I need something similar!!! EBay buy any chance??

yep, deffo need to upgrade to something nicer than those, ebay is a source , whats your budget as they can vary widely in price and quality.
best plan is to go stainless steel and choose a style that you prefer in that material.
There is a guy is Cyprus that does an excellent range and very good quality that is where I sourced mine, a few other on here have done the same and seem very happy with there choices from him.

Do you have a link by any chance?

you see, the revised ones are just as good as the old ones, and yes I do like to get out early for a traffic free blast around some glorious countryside, keeping within speed limits of course....cough cough, wink wink......say no more.....lol.
I do have a serious problem with my avant though, I think it is possessed as I just cant stop putting my foot down to enjoy the instant rush of speed and power....or it may just be me...haha.

I know exactly what you mean, I too drive within the legal limit 29 on a 30, 49 on a 50 and you get the gist of it!!!
To be frank it's not often I drive alone, as I have my princess's and HRH with me and mainly drive in the weekends, I don't drive to work either hence don't really get much chance to REALLY enjoy the car but this morning I did and I did with a big grin on my face!!

that looks spankingly nice chap, talk to me about cost and where to get one.

I paid £350.00 for the one with a red bit on top but after placing the order I changed my mind and decided plain black on top which is about £20 cheaper but I couldn't be bothered to mess about with PayPal and exchange rates etc so left it at that.

Ebay will send link later.

I am big time OCD and even I'm finding it hard to see anything wrong with it!

Money well spent! And I am well happy.

Think I'll hang it above the bed on the ceiling for few days so I can stare at it though not sure if the Mrs will take that too kindly!!

Looks good fella.

Is the interior trim genuine CF?

This is where I bought the steering wheel from, but mine is slightly different (long story).

It really is made to a very high standard bearing in mind I am someone who's very hard to please and cannot recommend fly-designs.tm enough. Is it worth £350 over the OEM probably not but I have no regrets!

Instructions as per the cruise control sticky on the forum but only thing I'll add is that the torque setting to re tighten the M12 spline bolt for the steering wheel is 50nm (info courtesy of Mike from parts).

Took it for a test drive this morning and it kinda feels wierd the bottom being flat and the overall wheel being thicker but it felt good:yes:

MONEY WELL SPENT OR BLOWN!!!
