I think it must have been nearly dry, drove for 20 miles with the display showing 0 miles, took 66 litres to fill the tank!

Wow, must have been a worry in those last few miles. The brochure for the B8.5 says the tank takes 63 or 61 litres (fwd/awd) and the most I've put in is 60 liters. Does this mean the "reserve" tank is good for a few more?
Edit: Just used BristleHound's link to the B8 brochure and seen that the tanks are up to 70 liters.

I dont think I'll try to run any further, although I was towing a 8' x 5' x 6' box trailer which knackers my fuel economy, I recon it would do 35 miles from 0 without the trailer.
The tank was not filled to overflowing, maybe get another half litre in there.

Doing 50 miles a day now. Glad I have S-Tronic.
I forgot, you changed jobs, didn't you? My work journey is 21 miles a day, three days a week (gotta love working from home).Cheeky.
