Correct abs coding

Hy there, how do i find The correct abs coding of a bosch 8.0 abs module. I bought an used audi a6 c6 with a abs module that needs the correct coding. If anyone can help me i would be very happy, the nearest audi center is at 350 km away. If anyone has an 2006 audi a6 3.0 motor
6 cylinders gasoline motor with multitronic, and 4f chassis and could send me a scan of the car. I coud put the same code in my module

Pyeman i have vcds, i know that is easy but i don t know the code that fits with my abs module, i found the correct code of an bosch 5.7 module but won t work with a bosch 8.0 module.
 
VCDS should show you the options to code. It will either be adding the numbers up to a total and adding that or 01,02,03 for different options.

Hy pyeman, you can t program like that, you can programm like that audi c5 modelos not c6 models. I went to dealer and said that the model i have right now is from another audi a6 and has a different part number mine has ,,L,, at the end of the number and I need one with ,,K,, at the end. They didn t reprogramm mi module and they don t know if it could be possible. I whant to know if is a possibily of reprogramm it or changing to software to a ,,K,, module and the reprogramm it?

You need to explain your problem better than you have. How can anybody help if you don't clearly write what it is you need help with.

Why would you fit a part number that is different than the 1 you had taken off??? You should have checked with the dealer first to see if it was full compatible with your car!! Why not fit correct part number and use your original code???

The 2 UK dealers the I have worked in will not fit second hand parts. We would code second hand parts fitted outside the dealership. The dealers would have told you if the part would work or not, Why didn't they try code???

Your clearly not coding and wanting SKC code?????

I bought the car with this problem, seems that the owner had a problem with the abs module and change the module with a different part number. It has ,,L,, insted of ,,K,,. The dealer told my that because of that they couldn t code. Here were i am an original audi a6 abs module cost about 6000 dollars it s a fortune, dont want to spend that money. They said that they don t know if i could code it or not but with their original audi dofware its not posibille due to a little difference in part number. I know that you can buy a second hand unit, but don t know if different part number could accept the try, I tried a different code with Vcds the module accepted the code but still shows mi wrong abs module coding. It is posible of changing the inside unit sofware with a ,,K,, module?

As I said before, dealers will only fit and/or code the correct parts. You can't change or update the software inside the ABS unit.

You need the correct part number or if superseded, the new part number. This will then be compatible with your car.

Buy secondhand unit and you should be good to go. I would think that there should be loads online.
